I am sad they did not put this in any version of Generations. This was the best boss among all of those of the Sonic the hedgehog series. Even better than the newer game's bosses as well, in my opinion.

@Kraedi Yeah there was real potential for this boss battle in Generations. Not only would it have been badass to see this fight with the updated visuals, but it could have been a decent platforming / boss battle combo ala the Perfect Chaos fight. Bits of platforming before and between the different versions of the boss. Perhaps even a little during the fire portion. They could have made it, as a cartoon Sonic might say, "way past cool."

you do realize that the SNES is 16-bit, just like the Genesis. So the SNES could make the original final theme. This is just a remix.
