@Maceart That's exactly why I choose Gillwing! :) It's part of the rules for high scores that you can choose whatever boss you like. Also, once you choose a boss you can't put it back to normal, only to random so it's harder to get a 2.0 if you don't know what boss you're about to fight.
Ha ha, I remember competing with you for the high score on this level. I know I am at 1.1 million but I think you have me beat by a little bit. I remember holding the highest known score for something like 13 months before you took it over. Good times, good times.

@peterxar Haha yeah that was great! Your scores always pushed me to my limits. When I first started playing NiD I never thought scores like this were possible. If you're still playing you should submit your scores to scoreattack. I've taken over the updates there so everything is being kept up to date now. Cheers.
In the options you can choose which boss you want to fight. When you are going for high scores you want to choose a boss that you can get 2.0 on every time, and for me that's Gillwing.
Thanks! If you hit the last section of Gillwing's tail with a paraloop you will beat him really quickly. There's a few different ways to do it, like over the top or through the tail, but under the tail is the most reliable.
I see, still pretty impressive with the rainbow link L R L R L R trick.

Why Gilwing? That pretty much guarantees 2x score. You should beat it normally with the correct set of bosses.

I'm a bit confused as to how you beat Gilwing at the end there. Did you paraloop his tail or what?
Awesome vid, btw. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when it was over.

Hey, I got a quick question not necessarily linked to this video. How much time do you have to link things in NID? Is it one second like in NJoD?
eddosan 4 years ago
Yeah, I would say it's about one second, but the time between links does get shorter on big links, or at least it feels like it does.
