pRAISE GOD FOR HIS AWESOME GRACE THAT HE WOULD SAVE A SINNER LIKE ME. THNAK YOU FOR THIS SONG AND YOU DID A GOOD JOB WITH IT. KEEP GLORIFYING THE LORD WITH YOUR MUSIC.AND REACHING THE YONGER ONES WITH MARVELLOUS TRUTH. IAM OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR MOM OR MAYBE EVEN YOUR GRANDMA BUT I LOVE IT.MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD WITH TRUTH.
to each his own. I am of the younger generation, and have heard both versions (contemporary and traditional) and i prefer the contemporary version. Though, i like both versions. To each his own.
well, I can understand your comment. Ordinarily I would agree--but I really respect what Indelible Grace does with the hymns. I find it creative and engaging. The upbeat-ness of this particular song goes well with the words--it's a joyful adoration, and provides a gateway for the witness of these amazing lyrics to another audience.
I disagree about the part about "no skill...flesh" God is the creator of our "flesh," and I don't see why you can't enjoy the song in your heart as well as your head.

What's this? Originality and using your own gifts? I'm all for that.

to each his own. If you do not like it and it makes you angry, then don't listen to it.
