I'm getting a service dog so I have to be extra careful about not letting her get sick!

But as long as I avoid grapes, raisins, and too much chocolate (all have chemicals that can harm the dog) I should be okay to experiment.

Yes, I'll have to plant a lot! Never even seen an asparagus plant up close so I'll have to figure out how much "a lot" is.

  • I guess I'll need to be careful when I plant asparagus!

Does he get sick eating that much of it?

  • Rudy the dog has a penchant for eating raw fruits and vegetables. He loves sweet fruits like peaches, but will also eat them well before they are ripe. He seems to be able to eat just about anything he wants with no ill effects. He has plenty of commercial dog food, so I don't worry about him. He will even "browse" in a blackberry patch despite the thorns.

For asparagus, just plant plenty, so you both can get some.
