Cutting Edge skating

ABC family aired a behind the scenes of this film in conjunction with the premiere of the third Cutting Edge film. I was surprised to find out that DB Sweeney and Moira Kelly did most of their own skating for the film. Pretty impressive, in fact the skating coach that was teaching them said that Moira had the potential to become a pro.

This is the real and the best cutting edge. The others are just ok. like most remakes they are very disappointing. This cutting edge with doug and kate is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love it.

If you like romantic movies with unlikely love stories......I suggest "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour......this is before Reeve was paralyzed. The music, "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini" is glorious too.

The 3rd was better than the crappy 2nd one but still crappy all the same. Its impossible to take a great movie and then make a sequel for TV that probably had a much smaller budget and a very different director. Alone they are okay movies but calling them sequels makes them seem crappy to me cause I am constantly comparing them to the originals. They did the same thing to The Prince And Me on family channel and I hated every minute of it.
