It's hard to get established in a new country. When Mathieu and I were getting ready to come here, we had a long talk about me knowing that things would be hard for a while, and that we would have to work on things. I couldn't imagine going it alone. But hang in there, things can only get better, no?
I don't know about Japan, but here, thrift stores around here are charities, people donate clothes, and but mostly crock pots, and the proceeds go to the charity. I've seen cloth consignment stores, where you leave your cloths, and when they sell, they give you a percentage of the sale.

A 5yr note to myself. Hey, might want to tell Bruce and andy not to take that roadtrip because they will die, and cut back on the booze, your getting cancer, go get yrself some insurance. Yep, those are the only biggies, all of lifes other fuckups and disasters I wouldnt trade for the world. At least in those we meant well and had love in our hearts@the time
