  • Thanks for the post, like your TOOL shirt, how does this method perform on 808's?

  • Best part is zero liquid waste.

  • Great video. Works 100% right out the box baby!! Puts the poly fill to shame. Big help thanks guy!!

  • I actually tried this mod on an xhaleo2 and it actually worked pretty good. just gotta make the foam slightly smaller than the liquid cart.

  • This is really easy to do and it does work. However, it does tend to leak a bit. The blue foam doesn't hold the e liquid as well as the polyfill but performs way better. Polyfill wastes e liquid. You can never vape it all out. This is where the blue foam excels.

  • I thought this dude was gonna show me how to make a homemade aquarium filter, and then he started smoking his creation. I thought..."WTF"?

  • Thanks for this. This mod has enhanced my vaping experience very much as far as taste and vapor production with my 510. I do recommend rinsing the filter before first usage and patting dry on paper towel..same as we would for standard cart filler. For my first try I did not rinse the filter and there was a slight aftertaste. Then I used one after rinsing and was much cleaner tasting.

  • i really like this video and the way you explain and do things , it made me feel happy

  • Thanks for the post! Would these filters need to be rinsed prior to use?

  • @subliminll It wouldn't hurt to wash them before use.

  • Did you get a manicure before the video? :) Thanks for the info!

  • I like your attitude with keeping it simple. In my opinion some people are getting crazy with the cartridge mods. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just not what I want to do. When I used to smoke "real" cigs it was easy and that is the way I want the electronic ones to by. Anyway, nice video. I have always used the polyfill but I am going to give this a try. Thanks....

  • when you fill the cartridge, do i need to push down the foam? or just leave it as is?

  • @bludika Just leave it as is.

  • This mod worked AMAZINGLY for me, thanks! I was about to throw out all my cartridges because I couldn't get any e-juice out of the polyfill. Thanks again.

  • want to save 7.5% use promo code 58767 at totally wicked

  • Thanks for the vid Ryan :)

I wonder if there's shares in the aquarium filter business, lol anyone else feel there's a potentially HUGE market in loads of aspects of the ecig business, shame i'm too lazy to capitalise on it lol

  • hey man

is using this foam in the cart safe?

like wont it burn overtime into the vape?

    deos it taste normal?

  • I love the amount of flavor from this mod compared to the polyfill! It pulls the vape well, unlike "imo" LTB mod which has a strange vape, again "imo". To me LTB just doesn't taste good and has a strange draw.

This is by far the best material I have used and was close to giving vaping up.

  • Great mod man I was about to give up on vaping before I tried this!

  • Where did you get that vaporizing unit and whats it called? Kind of looks like a marker haha. I have a BLU ecig, and just did the marineland filter mod. Seems to be ok, I overfilled it the first time but definatly better then their standard cartridge.

  • How bout if you put some drops in then push the foam in slowly? Either way you are trying to expel the air. After trying it several times you should be able to judge how many drops it will take to not overfill it.

I looked for this product on the Marineland site and it's not there. Looks like they are discontinuing it so better stock up while it's available from suppliers.

    Thanks for the video Ryan!

  • How big should the blue cart fill be, compared to the cartridge itself? I have had success with the 901, less success with the 103, and little success with the 801. What am I doing wrong? I want them all to perform like my 901.

    Thanks

  • All I do for the size is just slip the filler into the cart and cut off the excess. If you are talking about width I like to make it just a bit bigger that the cart its self just so holds in place

  • hey whats up man, another good vid...I just bought some of this stuff the other day and it was working very well, but then I had to set my SB down and when i got back i noticed it was leaking a lil. Has this happened to you?

  • @MrRhythmNmotion Yes I get some leaking every now and then.

  • Nice explanation. That's the way I do it. Took about 2 tries to get the right width. Those ECF threads go on and on and make it an all day ordeal to prepare the filler/cart just to get an extra 2 drags out of the cart. I also find it seldom needs washing, just squeeze off the slight discoloration at the tip/depression with a tissue.

  • Holy crud! Cheap, easy and effective. Turns my 510 cart into an all day sucker!

The e-cig forum methods are rocket science by comparison!

  • Your the man... keep it up bro

  • DAM good!

  • Cool Man, I'll have to try it, I use the pyramid tea bag, I was going to try fluval next, this seems like about the same stuff, a little different. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for making this vid. I'm sure plenty of people will find it helpful.
