Starting July 1, tourist steam trains run daily (except sundays) on the Vaser Valley line. Tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays, trains run from Viseu de Sus to Bardau (km 24.1). Mondays, wednesdays and fridays, trains run to Novat (km 12.8).
All trains leave the Viseu de Sus station at 8:30 am, those running to Bardau will return approx. at 3:30 pm, those running to Novat will return approx. at 12:00 noon.
to daccia1: I'm sure you would like a camping in this beautiful places in romania. I can't really help you with camping but I can sugest you to sleep in people's houses. it's kind of cauchsurfing only you don't have to search the internet before your arrival. locals are always wainting in train stations for turists and offer you their warm houses. also they will cook tradional food. this way your stay will become more pleasent...have a nice holliday

I like more Bucharest than NY. Because I visited both places, I can make the difference. NY is more crowded and dirty than Bucharest, and there is the same proportion of homeless people. I've been just in Manhattan, which is considered the best part of New York.

Satul Pestera se afla la cca 7km de Castelul Bran, in plina Rezervatia Piatra Craiului. Pestera este satul vecin cu Magura, sat care apare mereu la Pro TV in acea emisiune cu vedetele venite sa munceasca la o pensiune. Satul Pestera este strajuit pe de o parte de masivul muntos Piatra Craiului, iar pe de alta parte de Bucegi.

Starting July 1, tourist steam trains run daily (except sundays) on the Vaser Valley line. Tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays, trains run from Viseu de Sus to Bardau (km 24.1). Mondays, wednesdays and fridays, trains run to Novat (km 12.8).

I can't really help you with camping but I can sugest you to sleep in people's houses. it's kind of cauchsurfing only you don't have to search the internet before your arrival. locals are always wainting in train stations for turists and offer you their warm houses. also they will cook tradional food. this way your stay will become more pleasent...have a nice holliday

AT LEAST two million young Romanians intend to leave their poverty-stricken homeland with Britain as their first destination of choice, a survey revealed last night.
One in six 18 to 34-year-olds in one of the EUs poorest countries say they see no future there and want to quit.
Twenty-one per cent name the UK as their preferred destination, meaning up to 500,000 young Romanians want to move here.

Considering their hot blood and very romantic mind, I think you will find a difficult task in getting an unbiased picture there :D
Go and visit Romania, feel the pulse and see for yourself, it is a safe place (!) and very welcoming but as mentioned here, they do have issues with changing their legislation and gaining respect for the right of free speech.
Something Romania in all honesty is working hard with to overcome right now.

Daca te crezi American si nu Roman atunci comenteaza la videouri-le Americane si nu-ti mai baga nasul in treaba Romanilor. Nu mai judeca tu pe Romani, judeca-te tu pe tine intai. Foarte bine, sunt jumate englez si jumatate roman, si scuza-ma daca nu scriu bine, dar am invatat romana numai de la mama acasa. exact ce spui tu spun si eu.
Nu am locuit asa de mult in romania, si am fost nascut in anglia, dar inima mea e romana si nu se schimba. Fiecare data care ma duc in romania ma simt acasa si nu vreau sa plec inapoi. Daca tu (baiatmare) vrei sa comentezi numai despre lucruri rau acasa dute in alta parte, ca nu-ai ce sa cauti acolo!

Indeed, there's great corruption here, the mob torments the people and destroys the country, commits all possible illegalities and has brought the Romanian people down on its knees. I hope the Romanians will have the strength to stand up straight against these scoundrels and decide upon their own lives. It's high time to wake up.

I don't know if that's entirely true, I wouldn't say that mafia in Romania works hand in hand with the police; rather with some corrupt elements therein. It's the same mob that tries to discredit the Romanian people, sending abroad their transgressors to commit all kinds of crimes and putting the blame on the Romanians.

Shanghai is not modern, it is a polluted and ugly city, I've been there 2 weeks ago for the third time. I LOVE BUCHAREST AND ROMANIA

I like more Bucharest than NY. Because I visited both places, I can make the difference. NY is more crowded and dirty than Bucharest, and there is the same proportion of homeless people. I've been just in Manhattan, which is considered the best part of New York.
