Even though the show is taking a break from being on the air, it doesn't necessarily mean that the production has stopped for the break too. They're allowed to get ahead on the show so that they can take time off later if they want. It's all about scheduling.

I don't know if that's actually what they did, but it's a possibility.

Jensen is marrying Daneel and there is talk that in Feb.2010 Jared and Genieve Cortese will wed. Maybe that is why the long wait...because the J's are getting hitched and this will be the last season too. JP and JA have already bought houses in L.A.

This episode is going to be awesome. I love that it's both of the brothers who are affected.

I mean, i suppose itsa good thing they draw it out, but three months is ridiculous. Maybe a month, and pushing it, two. Supernatural is gravely understated.

It annoys me cause I don't watch TV at all. The only show I watch is Supernatural. I can't blieve that they give a show like "Gossip Girl" 25 episodes and Supernatural gets only 22.

So I was watching Friday night lights tonight. It was the last new episode before they part for break. FNL comes back on JANUARY 6. The CW has been on break since BEFORE Thanksgiving. I know FNL stops in like February so the NBC can air them but still...THREE MONTHS. It's ridiculous....

OMG Supernatural has been the one HUGE exception to the rule!!! The show has been amazing this year. I've loved it. However I don't like waiting  months for the next one but I can handle it!!! LOL!!!

lol well there is only twenty two episodes in a season. Unless you're gossip girl, apparently...They got twenty five last year. The CW takes so many breaks because they want to draw out the season. I dunno why, but when the CW shows (by shows, I mean supernatural, well and the vampire diaries, this time) take breaks, it annoys me more than FOX or any other network.

I used to watch "Lost" all the time but I just got sick of how things were going. First they killed "Boone" (Ian) then they killed this character I loved named "Charlie". "Boone" did die. He had this really bad accident and they couldn't save him. It was so sad. I liked "Boone". I'm glad that his charcter is funny. Bad guys usually are the most interesting.

I don't really get into these huge plot twisty shows that are critically acclaimed and blah blah blah. Like lost and heroes. I was familiar with a lot of hte actors in Lost and always meant to watch it but...yeah. Shows usually suck the longer they're on. Supernatural doesn't so much - this season has been pleasantly amazing :D

Yeah, Ian Somerhold (or something close to that) plays a vampire. The most amusing vampire on the show. The one that kills people without qualms. Paul Wesley plays his brother - 'the good vampire'. They're both pretty, but they act pretty amazing. Especially together. And Ian hasn't died on Lost. I heard he's gonna be back for the upcoming season. But I didn't watch lost so....

I totally agree with you about Twlight. I mean SHEESE!!! If you say that TVD is really good I'll give it a shot. I've heard other people say it's pretty good. About this upcoming Supernatural I'm REALLY excited to see it. It looks so good!!!

I think you should give it a shot. Even the pilot you'll realize that the acting is above Twilight. But the writing is too. (: You'll have to remember that it's a CW show (which is an insult, if you exclude Supernatural) and aimed toward teenagers. But I was surprised with it. I don't usually take to CW shows. They're usually full of pretty people who can't act their way out of a bag. (wasn't there a show called Beautiful people this last fall....?)

Okay well I totally stand corrected however I'm SOOOOO excited for Supernatural returning I can't see straight. I know I'm driving my poor hubby crazy with this whole 2 month break thing. The "Sam Interrupted" one looks amazing. I'm sorry though about my snotty remark on Vampire Diaries. That was out of line. I just can't stand anything to do with Twilight. They're just shoving that down our throats.

lol Supernatural always takes a break for christmas. And I agree that Twilight is being shoved down your throat. But I like vampires, and it's annoying that Twilight has to touch everything that has to do with vampires. Everything that gets introduced, there's always someone saying 'that's a twilight rip off.' Twilight has absolutely nothing to do with vampires. Just moping guys who sparkle a bit. TVD has vampires that die and that eat people.

Actually the vampire diaries came before twilight - like back in 1991. And a lot of the deaths in twilight remind me of the deaths in supernatural. They have a serious edge that Twilight never managed to capture. And after the last TVD episode, I'm actually looking more forward to the return of the vampire diaries than Supernatural. (It's sad, I know...)
