This would've been much better if it was done on Hard instead. As much as I could probably contest to this and try my hand at a Hard speed run instead, since I absolutely love the original DS, this game is not meant to be rushed at all. Honestly. It's one of those games that should be done slowly to enjoy the sights and sounds, and not so much just to beat it.

I do have the game already fully uploaded and ready for download (retail copy), so if anybody wants it, please send me a message.

wonderful game. i remember years ago i went melee and my friend went with magic and swore by the magic and the great spells there.

i tried to do both in this game but i'm now seeming behind on both!

what is the better way to go?

@RageOfTheTiger Since you can make a party, I'd say have some melee characters and some magic characters. Make each character do just one thing to make sure they are good at it.

@supralightning thanks. Thats what i do want to do, I just am not sure what to do with my central character. Melee or combat magic. I suppose it doesn't matter cause I prefer melee and i can just advance my spell caster npc's the way i want. im only in the crypts with lvl 3 (i think melee) and lvl 2 (combat magic) can i still easily get a strong melee guy if i focus him on melee?

@RageOfTheTiger Yes, as long as you leave your main character as just melee he will continue to gain STR fast, and that makes him more effective. At a low level like that you have nothing to worry about :)

Magic could be very good, with the combat magic spell that throws a grenade. I forget the name of it. Ranged doesn't do a whole lot of damage, and ranged characters can't take much damage either.

@supralightning Actually started one of each, and melee is pretty good, ranged is OK, as long as you always have the highest level of weapons / armor. Magic you can't touch though, so magic is probably best.

@Thekittycatateme Oh yeah, I remember the spell, I think it was called explosive powder. You can throw it from extreme range and it just blows everything up. My favorite spell in the game >=]
