Rabbi Yoel Niasoff told me about this. I was not disappointed. On the contrary, it makes a refreshing change to listen to a master of his craft, singing so effortlessly. Go from strength to strength.
I don't think that I've ever heard one "better" than the original. Pinchik was his own man not easily copied. The closest to have his style down I believe are Moshe Teleshevsky and Hershele Pineles.
As a regular cantorial enthusiast and especially of the famous Kantor Pinchic (author of Rozo d'Shabbos), Kantor Niasoff rich voice and impressive delivery of the mystisism of Pinchic's Rozo d'Shabbos is fit for Sydney's famous Opera House.

the great Cantor Zalman Baumgarten performed in this shul. i can tell by the aron its the beth israel shul on 11nth ave and 56th in boro park.
