  • the whole WORLD feels this way!

theres no fair way to do it except to start at the beginnining when choosing inductees !

ALSO ITS ROCK AND ROLL , not anything else !

  • rock and roll hall of fame should have never been anywhere but memphis !

  • lol, I was sent to this song by ChaCha! I asked what my mood should be for today and they said I should have a "mood for the day" and gave me this link! XD

love this song. Puts me in a good mood.

  • Perfect.

  • Love this song...it's a terrific little piece of music.

  • I tried to learn this on guitar. Then I listened to it.

  • Band belongs in the R&RHOF along with ELP, Moodies and many other progressive bands but the political game is alive and well on the Hall Board. When crap like The Beastie Boys get in and greatness gets left out that just pisses me off!!

  • If any of you want to play this, try it! I found the tabs on the internet a while ago. I'm bad playing it, but it's so cool! Maybe someday it will sound good...

  • If i could learn to play this on guitar i could die happy

  • @roxy2190 it's not too hard to play, try and you'll see

  • You know what, people? Instead of constantly bitching about the close-mindedness of our American friends who would rather listen to fucking Justin Bieber than Yes, just let them be. We are lucky to know that at least this genre will go down in history and the thing is running on the freaking YouTube 40 years after it was born.

  • this song feels SO GOOD to listen to.

  • saw Yes two year ago. Steve Howe still rocking.

  • Nice song. I love the spanish arrangement. A timeless classic that could be from any era. Pretty too!

  • @SimoneDeEngles No, no, no.

Yes is an exceptional band, but to play it while children young so it sticks to them is just as bad as playing pop music so it sticks to them. You aren't supposed to be "forced" to listen to music to enjoy it. You're supposed to let the music come to you.

And cut it the fuck out with the American stereotypes.

  • Fantástic! One of my favorites.

  • Tell the moon dog, tell the march hare...

  • @ChocolateHoneycomb weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaveeeeeee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • @ChocolateHoneycomb Tell the jabberwocks my son.

  • This song is very fun to play.

  • It is very interesting I bought this CD after listening to "Roundabout" from World Cafe and I was outside of J&R record store. I was getting impatient when I was standing at YES kiosk because I was waiting for the DJ told the name of the CD.

After I made the music file on my computer (I am no longer having portable CD player) and I started to play, I really love this piece along with Roundabout and Long Distance Runaround.

Highly recommend Fragile CD. Get it if you can.

  • i cant believe these comments. My mom showed me this album, that same day i started practicing this song, and its been nearly the last song i've learnt.. like i didnt need to play any other song ... when i play my guitar now (this doenst happen more than once a month) i always play some blues to warm up, and then play this song and thats all.

  • could this be considered medieval music?

  • @jasedp213 no it doesnt suck enough...;.people dont realize how much medeival music SUCKED by our standards. Further, any modern attempt to create new medeival music would not truly be medeival because it would inevitably be influenced by the evolution in musical theory we have had since then. It would be like trying to go back to leeching after having visited a modern hospital...just not happening!

  • True English folk music I hear...

    CLASSIC

  • True English folk music I hear...

    CLASSSIC

  • Best classical and flamenco guitar combination ever! :D

  • Steve Howe, thank you for creating this amazing guitar piece during my lifetime. You and the other musicians from YES have made an indelible mark on my musical soul. My God the stuff you guys came up with!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Steve Howe, one of the best guitaist Ive ever heard! ( The whole band is extremely gifted!!! ) Ive been a yes fan since 1971.

  • Alot of classical and flamenco guitar influence in that.

  • Ma chi sarebbero quei 4? E' un brano splendido,in tutti i sensi!!!

  • Try to listen to this whole song on the 24karat Ultradisc II CD release! I am actually deaf right now because my ears went to heaven!

  • lol at the tags "with lyrics"

  • @Sadell i think thats because this song tells such a wonderful story. the guitar speaks with a beautiful voice ^^

  • Big classical influence here, great stuff.

  • Where's Tony?

  • 3 people need to improve their mood....

  • Long live Prog!

  • Progresive music...cool

  • Is this 3/4? I think it is, but I'm still having a little trouble counting it out.

  • Pink floyd is my favorite band for their DEEP beat. Yes had a really good guitarist to so creative. But i have been a professionnel musicien i think i'd really enjoy to share with Pink floyd.

  • 1:27

  • LOVE THIS SONGG SOOO MUCHHH! pshh how can you not?

  • It's difficult to place Sir Howe, the scope of his art is Ingress!

  • I met my daughters dad because of this song. While the marriage didn't last my beautiful daughter has.

  • People may want to consider Going for The One as a favorite album.

  • @SeattleLA Are you insane? This album, or Close to the Edge. Going for the One isn't Yes, it's the Chris Squire Band.

  • @MrPerfecttommy Most YES fans act in class and dignity. Nothing in my comment suggests people must do something, only a suggestion. GFTO contains all the members from the classic era, contributing as before. Awaken; the tile track; and Wondrous Stories, are such excellent works. I love the classic era too, but mine was only a suggestion. When people read your comment, it could make me look bad and I have gained a small following of Youtube people who seem to appreciate my music history knowledge

  • @SeattleLA My apologies if I offended you.

  • Why, oh, why, can we not have music like this revered in America? Play this for your children why they are young. Better yet, play this for your children while they are in your wombs. Thank you, Yes.

  • i love how this comes up from my death metal and sludge youtube suggestions. and it's true that this has been one of my favorite songs since I was 10. I'll never understand how steve howe does it.

  • Easily one of the most relaxing pieces of music I can think of, especially around 1:26 and the end.

  • 2 people must burn!!!!!

  • @n64wilbert DEATH TO THE INFIDELS!!

  • OMG!!!! It sound's like Paco de Lucia but in a album with synthesizer's before any one else use it this album is 40 years ahead it's time!!!!

  • gonna get out all my old ''Yes'' records ..love this track..and all the art work by Roger Dean on the covers.

  • 1) London Calling , 2) Rubber Soul, 3) Is this it, 4) the Band, 5) Exile on main street

  • My father once said: "If you can play the song on the guitar, then you are really good and got it done!" =)

( I've began to play a few month ago)

  • @MyTabler My dad told me the same when I was a kid and then he taught me the song. Best band ever, and best dad also

  • @MyTabler Yeah, people told me that too....thats innaccurate though...this song just sounds hard...its not that bad really. This was the first song I learned on guitar......its really not that hard. Now, composing a song like this....THAT is hard.

  • @MyTabler My dad told me the same thing when I started playing. It's honestly not all that hard to play it just takes alot of practice to get it to flow smoothly

  • @MyTabler

my dad said the same thing to my brother learning the guitar. that is awesome. i grew up listening to this everyday until he perfected it. keep it up

  • yesssssss

  • this song ressembles to "clap"

  • which 2 asswipes put dislike on this! i would believe tht the lil red bar would rep the size of their penises... and if one was a girl it reps the size of her tits!

  • @jasper6398

  • This is my absolute favorite album! It still sounds as fresh as it was 40 years ago!

This album and Close To The Edge changed my perspective on music...

  • this is awesome! thanks for uploading:D

  • The "chorus" like part of this song (the pull-off walkdown line from A to F# on the high E string) is seriously one of the most beautiful and most memorable YES melodies.

  • This is excellent!!

  • absolutely incredible

  • ahhhh, bliss.

  • Lembrei do Floriano...

  • Pink Floyd is my favorite band, but Yes makes it SOOOO hard for me to definitively say that!

  • @thefloyd141 I have the same dilemma but Yes wins out simply because of their longevity and ability to progress as is their genre.

  • I love the 1:27 part!!!!!!!

  • Best mood for the day ;-))

Thank you for this wonderful piece of music

    This make my day.

    greetings Theresia53

  • best part is at 1:3o!!!

  • @TheFloydios The best part is the whole album!

  • i liked the part with the guitar solo

  • ive been hearing this song for years and thought it was by some great classical composer.

  • Y like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is so epic.

  • This entire album reminds me of my early teens! THANKS!!!!!!!!

  • Steve Howe is a real guitarist, unlike Jimmy Page, Jimmi Hendrix, etc. Real guitarists can play pseudo-classical music like this AND rock out on a roaring electric guitar.

  • @apieceofeight23 My kind of comment.

  • @apieceofeight23 You clearly never heard Page playing *proper* classical guitar.

  • @uoleo yeah,or hendrix playin hear my train a comin,on an accoustic 12 string, straight outa Robert Johnson,(who didn't play classical) and J.Page sounded somewhat pseudo classical when he did stairway to heaven. and i wonder if any of us would have even HEARD of Steve Howe if not for a band named Yes that had a cpl. OUTSTANDING keyboardist's Rick Wakefield, Keith Emerson playing very well onmoog synthisizer's,buy a ticket for hendrix, you were goin to see HENDRIX,YES you were seein the band

  • @apieceofeight23 i'll be god-damned if i'm gonna stand around and let you insult jimmy page and jimmy hendrix....fuck you and your steve howe you cunt...you want classical music go listen to paganini you fruity fucking faggot...real guitarist my dickhole

  • Comment removed

  • By the way: it's Jimi hendrix, not Jimmy.

  • @apieceofeight23 Just your opinion I guess. I guess you wouldn't like Alex Lifeson who I believe plays a damned good classical guitar. What about Satriana and/or Vai? I don't recall them playing classical guitar and they smoke.

  • @apieceofeight23 hey man just because jimmy page doesnt play classical music doesnt mean hess not a good guitarist.

  • @apieceofeight23 I guess by your yardstick that narrows it to Al DiMeola, Blackmore, Giltrap, Howe...???

  • @apieceofeight23 Howe is one of my favourites on guitar.I agree with you when you say he´s a real guitarist, but let me tell you something;I don´t agree with you when you say Hendrix or page are not real guitarists.Same way I could say Howe is not a real guitarist because he doesn´t play jazz as Llarry Corryel or McLaughlin,or he doesn´t play flamenco as Tomatito or Paco de Lucia.Hendrix is great in his way, same Page.I don´t think Howe can play blues as Hendrix does.they´re all amazing their way

  • @renemill ,...i'm with you!

  • @renemill or plays as well as Wes Montgomery or Django Reinhardt

Personally Steve Howe one of the most underrated guitarist in the world!!!!! most guitarist can't even match his instrumentation.

  • @n64wilbert so, so true. he is my favorite

  • @apieceofeight23 hendrix could'a played classical music if he'd wanted, but that isn't where his head was at,and you and i would have never heard of him,he was into the blue's and you'd have never heard a lot of dude's that came later,(simply because they wouldn't be the players they are today,he showed everybody what "high volume tone control" was all about, he took an accoustic instrument/limitedvolume into a monster animal that pounded sense's,classical guitar is like latin, he knew his roots

  • One of my all time favorite licks!!

  • Absolutely lovely.

  • Love this thanks for posting!

  • Steve Howe is a very good guitar player, he has some mad skills, you can actually hear his Bach influence

  • the grammar on the description is wrong. Yes is* a progressive . . .

  • sweet melody

  • waaaaaaaaaaaauw!! great, fantastic flamenco, this is the first time i hear it, great guitar

i love yes and i love everybody who loves yes!!

  • @marnixdecroock just cause its on a classical guitar it doesn't make it flamenco guitar

  • Comment removed

  • Master peace! I usually play this song whit my guitar when younger!

  • Clear as a bell and beautiful as ever. Thanks for posting this, Raky, I'll enjoy it often while it lasts (which probably won't . . .)
