LOve your lessons, I quitted bass and picked up playing guitar again, it's better for strating something solo in music IMO, but many thanks for your lessons, you're a great teacher sir.
Openly(Frankly) thank you for taking time to explain, I find celà brilliant because I which is too much time(weather) for lessons I estimate(appreciate) your continuous channel as his(her, its) bus grace(favor) has lads as you his(her, its) tempt to learn(teach) with simplicity B)
It's a musicman Stingray. Very similar. It's a good bass. An "all rounder". Good for all styles and techniques. This bass still needs to be set up properly though, because the strings are way off the board! It's a heavy bass, because of all the electrics inside it. If you like to experiement, and don't always stick to one genre, i'd definatly recommend it!
Thats true! Everyone searches for a specific tone and you may find the stringray fitting for a large variety of styles. But personally I only used stringrays for specific sounds and my jazz bass for everything in general (Such as this song), hence I said I liked the jazz as allrounder better.
Still, it's all there, in a lesson that works. This is the second upload of it, and the last one got over fifty thousand hits, and 5 stars. Hopefully it wont be too much of a problem...
@SinuDono I agree that 4 or 5 may be too much as you can just rewind if you don't get it first time but I'm not going to complain, this guy makes probably the best bass lesson videos on You Tube. :D
Thanks man. Yea, this video is actually old (like the others that I will be posting over the next couple of weeks) that I had to take down ages ago. Different style of teaching. I've learnt a lot since then, but I still hope this benefits people positively :)

for the slow part after the slap line you can play it on the 8th-10th-10th power chord shape instead of jumping to the 3rd

@Dmanlamius76 I dont agree, the stingray isnt allround at all. If you want to go allround, get yourself a jazz bass.
RobinVeldhuis 10 months ago
@RobinVeldhuis Well, I disagree with that. Each to his own. :)
