It was stated that the officer kicked the suspect for a "stun blow" to make sure the suspect was temporarlily disabled so that the officers could detain the supspect. He didn't know if the suspect was laying on a gun, so the officer had to push the suspects head with his foot to get him off guard so he could hand cuff the suspect. Then as they were handcuffing the suspect, he became a threat so the other officer had to hit him in the back to settle him down so they could cuff them for their safety. It is obvious the suspect was going to attack the officers if given a chance
