for years i thought the name of a ratchet shifter was *slap stick* lol all these years my 71 challenger had a ratchet shifter stock, but i still call it a slap stick. Difference is though, you can hold the button in on the challenger shifter and pull it all the way back to 1, instead of ratcheting back from D.

no, you do the exact same as if you were shifting the stock shifter. For almost $400, all this does is make it impossible to overshift.

cause an auto tranny tuned and capible of shifting will out perform manual anyday. All hi end race cars are auto tranny in drag racing

@TroutButter This + a higher stall converter will beat a manual in 1/4 and its alot easier
