@The61616112 Paying homage isn't necessarily ripping off. The name of the band was taken from a Thy Serpent song. Which isn't knew. Epica took their name from a Kamelot album. And plenty of bands have taken names from Lord of the Rings and other novels, which by the reasons you stated before would be ripping off. Ripping off, however, is blatant copy of... everything.

Can someone tell me how a band get a way with such a blatant rip off... at least spell the word properly (with a c) and then it doesn't sound like such an obvious band who gave them self the K' title (long before) Korn... I don't if I can respect this band or not, I really like some of their songs; but this is poor form

how about you learn to put effort into the vocals 1st, ok? and i'm sure you'll realize the difference between screaming and growling. screaming is for faggots in tight pants that squeeze their nuts so hard that they can't breathe. and this song is made up of quite a lot of lines if you proceed towards the lyrics. the lyrics of this song are probably too poetic for your puny brain to comprehend, it sure beats the living daylight out of the simplified crap that mainstream noobs do.

it's called growling. it's better than shit like escape the fate. This isn't about looking good or listening to what your friends do just so you can fit in. This is METAL. and we growl because we're made of METAL - and we are proud to support it. This is true music with actual effort put into it by the band members themselves and not the producers/lyricists/managers. this music has more depth than the crap you listen to, the effort shines right though, and the lyrics are like gems.

I live in chile and there is only people who likes : pop, reguetton, rap and hip hop, and if is not one of these, is metal and rock, but only the typics bands like Rammstein, Metallica, Iron maiden, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Dream Theater, etc... Since I have been listening to all the music The O-Man has posted it seems I prefer the Russian and Finnish metal to most others.
