Cool! Once On This Island just got cast today at my school and I got Agwe. At first I was ecstatic, then I was kind of disappointed that Agwe was a man, but now I think I it will be awesome!

Im doing this show on friday at a camp and we have a male sing it and i thought you were amazing and instead of have a ton of very awesomely talented and very flexible dancers we have our gossipers dance with umbrellas and me as the storm and the major dancer. btw we r doing the jr. version of this musical. Plus i play andrea so its kinda like ughhhhhh! but anyways great job!

We just did this for our school play only it was the jr version. We had a girl named Amanda play Agwe and a girl named Acacia play Asaka. Anyway, the solo was much shorter and we used umbrellas and streamers for our dance. I had an umbrella. Agwe's dress was long and blue with ribbons attached to look like water and seperate sleeves with the flaps attached to the dress so wen she lifted her arms there was a long blue veil under them. Unfortunatly we weren't allowed to video tape

yeah the random guy saying "and she'll provide the place" threw me off, as well as the octave switches, but it sounded great. very nice low range! it was interesting to hear this song like this, but you did a great job!

yeah, i was supposed to sing that but then the director decided it wouldn't be "effective" or something like that. the octave switches were really weird in the beginning but i had never heard the song when i started out so now it all seems normal lol.
