The Lan cable comes with the wii lan adapter right?

the cable in question is called an 'Ethernet' cable and it does not come with the LAN adapter. u have to buy it urself

@mariobro1993 Well yea, It's just that you can't connect the LAN adapter DIRECTLY into the cable modem, you still need a router. The LAN adapter goes into the router, and the router is connected to the cable modem. If you don't want to buy a router, then you can look for a usb drive on ebay. Then that goes to your pc usb drive, then it spreads your internet connection to your wii wirelessly. Theyre around 15-20 bucks. If you want me to explain in better detail just message me.

I've never seen a "Pay & Play" on any Wii game before.

If the game uses "Nintendo Wifi Connection" then its free. If your game uses its own (company) servers then you might have to pay-to-play. But it Differs for each company. Also if u are having difficulty with your connection & its with that game then you'll have to contact the company & not Nintendo since it doesn't use Nintendo's servers.

Any game thats made for the Wii can use both the LAN Adaper & Wii's built-in Wireless (WiFi).

Im on my internet channel RIGHT NOW and "borrowing" my neighbors connection loaded with interference and youtube loads just as fast. wired connections are NOT 3 times faster than wireless. whoever said that needs a slap. The speeds are jst about the same so it really doesnt matter

Nevermind,the guy at RadioShack cleared the problem up.Nintendo supports certain types of DSL/Cable with direct connections but not others,meaning you can still connect the bitch but you need a router/wireless router to do so because of PPPoE.The Router somehow takes care of that and allows the Wii to go online.Hope that helps bro ecause now I gotta wait another week to finally get my Wii online.
