I was at this show. I went alone, but I didn't care I was alone. Nothing was gonna hold me back from fulfilling my wish of seeing these guys for the first time.
I loved it all! And, when they did this song, it was just so moving, so amazing!
I went to this show by myself too. (Not enough Pearl Jam fans in my circle!!!)
Though, I didn't feel alone. Just being at the Forum that night was truly AMAZING!!!
And a BIG shout out to the guy who was standing next to me the whole night asking me if I was alright. Heck YEAH I was alright! I think we were ALL alright that night!!!
Great comment. And thanks to mjohnsdotcom for the post!!! : )
@81Flapjack There's also a Spanish version. (El Ultimo Beso - Polo) My dad used to listen to this song when I was little and I heard it the other day in English and I was sooo surprised :) And now I love the song even more because I know that Pearl Jam sings it! ♥♥♥
Well, we can probably agree on that. Cochran really never had much success with the song. However, the J. Frank Wilson version was the most popular and, most believe, the best cover. J. Frank Wilson released his cover in 1964. Its *VERY* hard to find the original Cochran version, but it is included on the album "King of the Road" released in 1962.
