Back in the summer of 1978,I heard this advertised on the radio down in Virginia. It even contained a sample of Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes' Bad Luck in the background of it.
@oldschoolbx1970 Sweet thx for sharing! I enjoy little stories, exerps & tid-bits of info like yours. So did you end seeing it then, or what? You gotta love the 70's. While I was just a kid (b.'71) during, it's my favorite decade. I love nearly everything about the 70's, from the media/movies/music, to the clothing & int/exterior design, etc. I especially love the movies though. Many cheap/cheesy, B horror, action, kung-fu, etc films. I'd say '74 to '84 is my favorite era/time. :-)
@oldschoolbx1970 Hey, I noticed you're about same age as me (me = 40 on 8/20) Just out of curiosity, did you have an Atari 2600 (or any vintage game console), go to video game arcades, etc, when you were younger? I started playing my dads Atari (but it was some consoles made before the 2600) when I was 5 years old. I've been loving video games ever since, but now I especially love the old/classic games, hehehe
