Come on guys! I think Gaga was just incredibly nervous. I don't think she's a mean spirited person at all, in fact from everything I've seen of her, she comes off as incredibly genuine and kind. Plus she has so much character and when you watch other interviews on her, she picks up on the jokes the hosts try to make and often makes jokes back..she's not as "ditzy" as you say.
