  • "Uuuuuuh" *crowd screams louder* ahahaha

  • befor 2004(box set) any Nirvana besides bleach/nevermind/in utero/incesticide/unplugged/ or muddy banks was almost impossable to find. at the time i was the biggest Nirvana fan ever, and when I found this tape it was like finding the holy graiI unheard Nirvana(and yes beavis and butthead kick ass)

  • I love them both with passion. Beavis & Butthead & nirvana.

  • the 90's was the best decade grunge is so badass

  • i have this CD and i forgot that nirvana was the first song.. this is a good Beavis and Butt-head CD.. it even has share on it..

  • That was like, a catchphrase he used to annoy ppl. It is, of course, not quite as funny after.... what happened. The text is nonsensical on purpose but hey, you rarely find a cheap joke with such awesome background music ;) If he'd been born ten years later (or if he hadn't died :( ) Kurt would've made one magnificent internet troll.

  • this song allwas hits me hard but lol the bevis n butthead all ways evens it out

  • I also hate myself and want to die. life doesn't make sense anymore, kurt knew this and didn't hide from it. i've just been sucking up oxygen in a world that doesn't give a fuck if you walk or crawl.

  • @eyeh8zion hey man. i used to feel the same way. it gets better. just stay positive:)

  • You all sound like a bunch of queers. It is a good song though.

  • @BuffMckenderson1 Its beavis and butthead tard.

  • This song should have been on In Utero? That tells you what Heroin does to your mind. No offence. RIP Kurt

  • @SethHesio Haha, this song is a joke. I think on shitty Rolling Stone interview Kurt said that he made a joke, becuase people thinks he wants only to die and that's not true because he is a happy man.

    Peace

  • @OlympiaMusicTV You're an ignorant cunt. Go eat a cheeseburger.

  • @SethHesio No I'm not. You just have a bad interpretation of the idea for text. This song wasn't a massage: "I really want to die", it was another massage: "Ok, you really think I wan't really to die? You don't believe I'm happy about having a great wife and amazing daughter? So think the same further, I'll keep you in mistake". Sorry man, that song is a joke for Nirvana. Read the Rolling Stone interview, there is something about that.

  • @OlympiaMusicTV It's a great song, it should have been on in utero or Incesticide. I don't know what you're going on about because you don't write very clearly.

  • @SethHesio Or maybe I'll give you a quote If you're too lazy? Q: "One of the songs that you cut from 'In Utero' at the last minute was "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die." How literally did you mean it?"

A: (Kurt)"As literal as a joke can be. Nothing more than a joke. And that had a bit to do with why we decided to take it off. We knew people wouldn't get it; they'd take it too seriously. It was totally satirical, making fun of ourselves"

  • @OlympiaMusicTV What exactly is your point? It's a good song, that's my point. If it is a joke song... that's fine? Seriously what is your point?

  • @SethHesio Yeah, that's fine. He's death is not related with the song in serious way. Yeah, it's amazing song, but It's not any omen or something kinda like that, just joke.

  • @OlympiaMusicTV No one said it was. You seriously sound like a moron.

  • @OlympiaMusicTV

You're right, he was being sarcastic in writing this. That's not saying Kurt never felt suicidal.

    @SethHesio

Calm down, no need to get pissed off with anyone.

  • @Uzzie101 yeah, exactly.

  • @Uzzie101 Are you fucking retarded? He was depressed as fuck.

  • @weeinersauce I know. Did I say he wasn't somewhere?

  • lol i have this CD bought it for this song

  • Comment removed

  • I never really knew what Kurt was saying in the spoken bridge part, but the interpretation here is a little unsettling, and also fucking great.

  • haha beavis is good at screaming XD

  • Anyone else notice the irony in the song title?

  • What's the name of first song they imitated in the beginning? Butthead - Dun nuh nuh nuhhhhh, dun nuh nuh, NUH NUH! Beavis - AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • @WEEDIsTheANTIDOTE420 i don't think it's anything. i think it's just mike judge having fun :)

  • @tmofee It's a pretty familiar riff though lol like.. the timing of beavis screaming is from a song.

  • the 3 best things in the 90's Nirvana,Beavis and Butthead.

  • thers no 4:01

  • 3 people love himself and they want to live

  • That kicked ass...

  • This song kicks ass

  • this was my first CD when i got it 1994 in those BMG catalogs was like in 4th grade and i was a big nirvana fan little did i know the singer killed himself leaving me with classics

  • @09prizefighter09 lol i remember those BMG catalogs! they'd give you "12 CDs for a penny" or some shit like that and then you had to buy like 20 more for full price.

  • @helikestv Abd charge an arm and a leg for shipping and handling!

  • i love this song so damn much

  • Wow, Butt-head has a nice voice.

  • my FIRST TAPE EVER :D

  • @stupidnicks

MINE TOO I WAS ABOUT 6

  • What the fuck is with all the bullshit arguing? What ever happened to "peace, love, empathy" all you uber Cobain fans.

  • @ckwasi2006 nirvana fans have all be come enemys of each other its kinda funny its like we fight over who knows more about nirvana and kurt lol its so fucking stupid

  • @somethingnotdone Agreed!

  • @somethingnotdone nirvana fans have always been like that. When I was like 13 I had the "Sliver" shirt with the blue water-person and some metalhead kid comes up and starts quizzing me on Nirvana like I wasn't allowed to be a fan of theirs. For whatever reason this band has always inspired the "I know more about them\I liked them before they were cool\ you're not cool enough to like them" brand of bullshit rock eliteism more than any other.

  • @helikestv>it was definitely like that back in the day. people were poseurs until further notice..

  • @ckwasi2006

    amen.

Great song. Wish they kept it on In Utero, And used it for the album title as planned.

  • Lmao 2x speed sounds like punk

  • duhn nuh nuh nuh NUHHH duh nuh nuh nuh NUH NUH WAAAAAAAAAAAAA WIDLEY WIDLY WAAAAAAAAAAH, shut up bevis thats not how it goes

  • hilarious..... two of my favorite things bevis and butthead and of course Nirvana

  • if time travel were possible, I'd send myself back to 1990 and just re-live the 90's! Fucking love this song and this show!!! and Super Nintendo! lol

  • Pisses me off that he sold it, but I suppose it was most likely more to hide it than money.

  • Who is the one nimrod who hit the "didn't like" button??

  • @1974BigJay nimrod? lol haven't heard that on in a while

  • @tcdahn7 Kid you cant beat Nirvana's grunge...I mean ffs Dave Grohl only formed foo fighters because Kurt killed himself and yeah much of Dave's influence was from playing drums for Nirvana but theres nothing like getting back to your roots you know?

  • @shawzie1916 so true my good man

  • @tcdahn7 Fuck you!

  • bought this tape like ten years ago for this song(and aerosmith song) used to love it, havent heard it in many years thanks for posting

  • Brilliant.

  • This is the best song ever!!

  • The song is about the invasion of the media into his private life. "In the Someday, what's that odd sound?" is meant to be a piss-take and parody of journalists at the time who were accusing him being a junkie and having a junkie baby.

    "Runny nose and runny Yoke,

Even if you have a cold still

    You can cough on me

    I still haven't had my ful-fill

    Broken hearts and broken bones

Think of how a castrated horse feels

    One more quirky cliched phrase

Your the one I want to re-fill

  • @gmac55 trying to put meaning behind his lyrics is fun, but it's also pretty pointless, cuz he said himself, that most of the time it was just a bunch of poetry thrown together, and some things he just makes up at the last minute, due to him being lazy lol. that being said, i think you have a pretty good interpretation of this song. cheers

  • Not a huge fan of Nirvana, but this song is pretty good.

  • @bennybagofdonuts

Since their first album, asshole. Go troll elsewhere, faggot.

  • @TheSaintOfPain I think you've got the wrong comment, buddy.

  • @TheSaintOfPain

Yeah, I did. Sorry about that.

  • I Hate Myself and Wanna Die...

  • my fav nirvana song

  • "Think of how a castrated horse feels?"

    IS. IT. FUCK.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I forgot about The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience.

  • I still say that people should've paid more attention. Aneurysm is about Heroin, then there's this. Most suicidal people disguise it with humor, hide it behind sarcasm.

  • @nirvanariotgrrrl aneyurysm is about kurt vomiting because he got real nervous about seeing a girl

  • @ryanmaurer nah dude, its def about heroin

  • @ryanmaurer It's about heroin. "Come on over and shoot the shit" equals nervous about seeing a girl? How so?

  • @nirvanariotgrrrl "shooting the shit" means just hanging around with others, doing whatever, talking about whatever. The song is probably about multiple things. In fact I don't think Kurt's ever written a full song about one particular thing.

  • @Dumpsterbaby1991 It can mean just talking, but saying that's what he meant by the lyric is oversimplistic.

  • Lyrics are wrong, its not, "In the someday whats that sound".

No it's, "End it someday, whats that sound"

    A shotgun apparently.

  • go pet the slit in your crotch boy

  • @JohNirvana i totally agree with you man!!!!! i think it is the perspective on third person of someone who has heard a shotgun sound!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish this song were longer!

  • Comment removed

  • Beavis and Butt-Head have great taste.

  • in reference to the spelling correction, Kurt sometimes went by the name Kurdt Kobain, so both of you are correct

  • yo tuve ese CD en cassette, una tripa!

    Grettings from Venezuela!

  • i have this cd its good

  • Is their a more punk rock title for a song??? Toobad the rest of Nirvana and the label wouldnt let him call In Utero this.....

  • Kobain Forever!

  • u mean Cobain but w/e ur right

  • obviously not haha

  • hahaaha

  • you are correct

  • I think this is one of the best Nirvana songs ever. R.I.P. Kurt Cobain

  • @wcwlives Nirvana had good songs? Since when?

  • @TheSpawnofSkynyrd

Since their first album, fucktard. Go troll somewhere else. And by the way, you couldn't possibly be the "SpawnOfSkynyrd," 'cause no one who's as big of a faggot as you could ever be cool enough to listen to Skynyrd. Go die somewhere.

  • @TheSaintOfPain This is the greatest comment i've ever seen on Youtube.
