@alexpaviamusic haha I wanted to hear what you had to say ;) yeah I wanted to get under some people's skin a little bit. Why not? Thought provoking songs are the best.
@alexpaviamusic Your turn. Ha ha j/k :P your music has always been deep and the riffs are always awesome. You're a fantastic musician the way you are :)
First of all... hi, Danielle! How are you doing?! ^_^
About this song: on the musical side, there's the usual magic of yours... soothing arpeggios and your trademark complex chords in the chorus...
And then the lyrics... such a delicate subject... but, still, that verse about the nation makes me wonder if the whole thing is metaphoric of something else.
Anyway.
"So I tell you that all her sins are forgiven, and that is why she has shown great love" (Luke 7,47)
@danbergam I like your insight :) I didn't intend for any metaphors, though I wouldn't be surprised if any were accidentally implied. I did put words like "pray" and "going to hell" in there on purpose. Though this girl is a lesbian, and clearly had a religious upbringing, she still prays for someone (a girl) to love her, even though it is taboo and, according to the Bible, will result in her being sent to Hell. No one should be denied love from another human being - no matter the sex/gender.
@danbergam ha ha no joke i just left my comment to Alexpavia saying THOSE EXACT WORDS - "Thought provoking"! Read it ha ha thank you for being such a wonderful and devoted listener. There are others too, but you give the longest and most poetic comments :P
@Dandy087 I grew up Catholic. I went to Catholic school, went to Church every Sunday and was an altar boy. But this notion of going to hell if we don't do something or do something labeled as a sin by our church is, in my opinion, just another way to control us. Especially in the case of homosexuality.

@Dandy087
Oh, no metaphors involved, then... but that verse makes sense anyway! ^_^
Yes, the Bible says that... but if I'm not wrong they also say that a purely spiritual love cannot be condemned... such a big subject, though!
Your lyrics are always so thought-provoking!

@Dandy087
I couldn't resist the curiosity and I just had to read it... haha, that's *so cool*! :-DDD
But it's *you*, with your music and lyrics and performing, that are *inspired and inspiring* for first!
^_^
Then, the small amount of art in my heart and mind does its small rest... but there's such a driving force in what you do!
Keep it up, lady!
:-D

@Returnd4U2C I couldn't agree with you more. I believe the God that created us, loves us with no bounds.
