Watchmen truly is the greatest comic book movie of all time. All other comic book movies (such as spider-man and batman) are pretty much just summaries of the main character´s life. Watchmen on the other hand, is a direct film adaptation of the book. Sure, they had to cut out a couple of things, but they can´t make the movie ten hours long, so it´s to be expected. Never before have i seen a movie that is so faithful to the source material.

Well actually the NC thought it was weird, Spoony thought it was good and it was the most faithful adaptation anyone could've done but Linkara hated it cause he is a diehard comic fan he doesn't like movies based off of comics like 'V for Vendetta' and '300'

Personally I like V for vendeatta and 300 but I haven't watched Watchmen yet.

dark knight was based more on a character than an actual literation though like the watchmen, or v for vendetta, or even the league of extraordinary gentlemen. I think everyone will get something from one of those movies, granted it might just be an overwhelming urge to set fire to hollywood but still.. its an emotion that persons taken away from watching, in the end isnt that all the director/writer wanted?. Watchmans a good adaption doubt we'd have ever got a better version than that.

I'm just really tired of hearing comic book fans nitpick and complain about every single little thing, especially in this case where they stick so close to the original narrative that they almost alienate the average movie goer who is supposed to be able to figure out what's going on. When was the last "ambiguous" movie that got good reviews? I can't even think of one.
