I think she is hot lol also I think its funny that the Feregy started off as the main bad guys' as she put it and latter were nothing more then a joke and annoyance lol.
She is soooooo beautiful! Though I wish she was Deanna Troi, her voice was so sweet and her face so soft on Star-trek, but in person her voice is a harsher and she doesn't announciate all her words properly and her face has got sharp edges to it...:'( Sometimes I wish T.V was real.
She is still absolutely amazing though and I look up to her! he is a great woman!
@CwAziEGiRl sometimes I wish tv was real too. it can be depressing when you think about the fact that your favorite characters arent real people lol....especially if you meet them and they act NOTHING like their on-screen characters.
@omarlives wrong! if she did a lot of coke she'd look fuctup by now like Yasmine Bleeth (look her up).....Marina smokes cigarettes and possibly drinks wine but she doesnt strike me as a crackhead lol
@mrtrek64 Nah he is not a racist he is just from a different Era where people weren't color blind but they made peace with that.. He had a lot of people of different backgrounds for friends.. He is really a good guy if you ever got a chance to meet him.. I think sometimes when we look at stuff from the 80s and 90s we have to understand they were totally different Eras communication and self awareness were a lot different than it is today..
@grownman455 I thought the same thing until I came across a video where Vanilla Ice was a guest on his show. Do a search and check it out. I was shocked at Hall's behaviour towards his guest. Even the audiance turned on him and started booing. It was a very unfortunate turn of events for Arsenio, and really opened peoples eyes to what he really felt towards others of different backgrounds. I think this was the begining of the end for him.
@mrtrek64 Haha No research needed The 90s was my era. I saw the Vanilla Ice interview the night it aired and he was not being racist with Vanilla ice. haha Back in the 90s it was a different time and different era. Human beings of color was starting to come into their own in America and there were still some sensitive topics with many human beings of color at that time. Rap happen to be a sensitive art form at that. part 1
@mrtrek64 Part 2. So since human beings of color used rap to described the hardships of a lot of human beings of color living in America some of them NOT ALL but some of them took offense when Vanilla showed up pretending to be a thug doing rap when he was good kid from the suburbs and he made more money than they did. Not saying they should of reacted like that with him but it was just how the 90s were but Hall asked questions that was on a lot of rappers of colors minds.
@mrtrek64 Part3. I thought Vanilla Ice was a joke to me and I'm not racist but a little kid from a nice area saying things that you would normally hear from a common street thug was funny .. No Hall was not racist he was just asking questions that a lot of rappers of color wanted to know and plus Vanilla tried to play tough guy sometimes. When you try to play tough guy around the wrong people they will try to see how tough you really are. I will have to disagree with you on him being racist.
Fake English accent. Out of all the Characters in the Trek universe Nellix and Troi were the worst!!! The Borg actually refused to assimlate them both!!
@mrtrek64 It might sound fake to you, but she is the nicest out of the entire cast because I wrote to each & every cast member, but Marina Sortis is the only one who sent me a signed photo & that is why she is my fav in STTNG!
@geekeing Obviously I have no solid proof of this, but it just seems she's always enunciating her words too much. As though she's trying too hard to make sure everyone knows she's British.. Can't put my finger on it, but it seems fake to me.
@mrtrek64 ....fascinating observation. Please consider perhaps her style of speech might be a family trait, an expression of her greek heritage or even a expression of her personality...Type A personality?
I couldn't help but notice that when Arsenio introduced Marina, he called her character "Dina" instead of "Deanna". Wouldn't it be funny if that's where they got the idea from to have Zefram Cochrane call her "Dina" in "First Contact"! :)
