  • It's important to preserve the greenlandic language in the same way as icelandic is preserved well in iceland. its getting better.

  • Thanks this video! love this very interesting and so beautiful language! :-) It would be great to learn it but in my home (Hungary) there aren't any Kalallisut language book. :-(

  • we do understand a little bit north canadian people who speak inuktitut.

    Qanorooq : Gg(r)anoow(r)oog <-- its difficult to pronounce one of greenlandic words if the Q is in the word, which is very special to pronounce.

  • Listen to Kazakh language and listen to Mongolian

    They both have some influences i think. The prenunciation is so similar

  • in greenlandic it pauses alot in the middle of words. i like it. reminds me of japanese sometimes (which i speak) and hindi.

  • Yes, it's closely related to the the language in Nunavut. Sadly, most of the Inuit languages in Alaska and Northern Russia have either died or are near extinction.

  • Thule and alaska language are fundamental the same and they talk on marine radio.

    Vest coastal Greenland language are different even though word similarities.
