  • On February 21, 2012, 10.00 U.S. dollar(s) = 9.96 Canadian Dollar(s), at an exchange rate of 0.9955 (using nominal rate).

  • Eh.. where did the Hard drive go..? ;)

  • he said 750 canadian...so how much for unitedstates?

  • @Bluedash3r go look on line for the same parts at your local store, prices are always changing

  • @TheTechSource1 what are the temps???

  • nice video but shit pc case u shud have gone for cooler master 370 elite its cheap and future proof for all of the cards

  • lian li, intel and nividia??? how the hell is that budget

  • is there a way to get a quad-core in that?

  • Comment removed

  • budget is less than 400-450$...

  • can you do a video about mid range gaming pc please.and if you can also reccomended me good case for gaming pc with usb 3

  • I thought you were gonna through the case in the beginning and got all excited, but then was disappointed when you just set it down

  • I ordered that exact video card to go with my amd phenom x4 955, should be getting it today :D

  • lol this case is 90$?i can take cooler master haf 912

  • @buzz9961 this is all aluminum and a custom case like all lian li cases and they cost more because of it.

  • what do you say about this system? intel pentium g620 amd radeon hd 6750 corsair vengence 4gb 1600mhz gigabyte z68x-ud3-b3 coolermaster haf 922 corsair gs700w corsair a50 windows 7 WD Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 3.5" 1TB 64MB SATA3 LG GSA-GH22N x22 SATA Black DVD good system to upgrade later to better processor and graphics card?
  • wow this case is so small lol

  • lol the PSU was blocking the whole system.... ;p

  • $750 is not a budget build. I say anything below $300 is. For $500 you can get a decent gaming machine.

  • From what I have read, the AMD AMD A8-3850 is much better at gaming, because of the superior gpu. Wouldn't it be better to build a system with the apu from AMD with a f1 mb? You get much more bang for the buck

  • Case is too expensive and it's pretty ugly. I guess for your purposes, wanting to build that style pc it makes sense but i woulda just gone with a nice Cooler Master case.

  • OMFG I have that emachines case

  • if you dont have to have the small form factor, amd and a bigger case would have been way cheaper

  • Awesome stuff!

  • I think you could probably get a better performing AMD CPU at the same price, but the only option for graphics cards is Nvidia.

  • the sad part is that if you can get a deal from IBUYPOWER with an i7 and 6850 for 700 well on cyber monday anyways.

  • I would have went with the Antec300 that currently goes for $54.99 on NCIX if I was doing a budget build.

  • omg dude its a shame what u have built there..... this is no budget pc, there are waaaaaay better solution.... the videos tittle should be: "what not to buy".... and who, with a brain, would buy this case for 70 DOLLARS, this is just not right......

  • @SIKIRA1990 And anyone with a brain will also take your comment with a grain of salt. This is what they deemed the best budget build for around $700 US. It's not to say its perfect because everyone has their own opinion as to whats good and not but I think overall this is a fairly decent build. You also have to factor in if you get lucky and find things on sale. There are a couple things I'd change out but all n all I think they did a good job.

  • @Jetstorm19 dude the components are not bad, but the case is tooooo small.... nobody should put a gtx560 in a case a little larger then a cellphone, i mean come on wtf!!!! and everybody knows that if u are building an budget pc u are buying and AMD rig....but ok the gtx 560 is a good card for the cash.... but for the price of an i3 2100 u can buy an AMD phenom II x4 955/965 or even if u are a little lucky a x6 1055..... nobody will tell u that a i3 is a better bang for the buck then those amds..

  • thats it from me i cant spend my words on this anymore.... its just too obvious that this is a bad solution for a budget pc.....

ps: sorry if my english is not so good, but i think that everybody understands what i am trying to say....

  • I don't understand why you have biult it so small, why didn't you just use a mid size case?

  • @ukjamie96 why not, I wanted something different

  • @TheTechSource1 should have got a normal case

  • Amd processor would be more budget. WHY WOULD YOU GO NVIDIA????

  • @northpaw2000 because a 6870 wouldnt fit in the case

  • @TheTechSource1 i like amd but ati drivers suck

  • @TheTechSource1 I hope you guys know but just in case you don't the GTX 560 sans ti is in fact a re badged GTX 460 1gb so that being said you could have saved a good amount of cash and went with a Radeon HD 6850 because the HD 6870 would not fit in the LianLi mini case.

  • @TheTechSource1 Why go with that case???

  • I dont think I ever looked at an emachine and thought "bad ass"

  • Great video guys. I recently subscribed, checked the email notification box, and now I watch all your videos. Thanks for all your hard work, I learn a lot from watching your show. Plus, I like how its entertaining as well as informative.

  • yup good going guys that's just about all you need. Other then the fact that the damn 560ti 448cores is out soon. But yeah nice cheap budget build!

  • still thinking of a case the thermaltake gt 10 or LIAN LI Lancool PC-K63 Black Steel here is my build so far

  • amd still has better proc. and much more energy efficient

  • @PCDoctorPH but they dont have many ITX motherboards

  • @PCDoctorPH actually intel is the one that is energy efficient. AMD is very much a power hog. excluding their video cards.

  • @PCDoctorPH It's funny, your comment seems to come from 2006 too. :O

  • @PCDoctorPH lol amd has better proc and energy and efficiency.. thanks for the great laugh

  • lol at me napping in the background

  • Also when I think budget I think of 40$ mid tower case. Itx is more of a luxury lol.

  • @TheTechSource1 yea nvm. You built an itx, I built a midtower so big difference there. Rosewill is pretty famous brand in the US. It's in an inhome brand of Newegg. Well Canada has NCIX which is almost the same. I bought everything on pre black Friday sale. Ie: the rosewill costs 130 regular, but it was on sale for 60$ so yea. I bought the HD from amazon and the price on the Seagate model I bought was still a low 70$. Itx build is pretty sweet. I didn't know they could hold a 560

  • lol at computer porn

  • lian-li = not budget

  • @julianomaxter Go look in to ITX cases that can hold full size power supply and full size videos cards. Lian-li is the only case maker that had a case for $70

  • You should leave links to everything like to amazon or something

  • @nooblady2310 I believe the 560 is faster or about equal to the 285 in performance, but the 560 will smoke the 285 with newer shader models and so on seeing as it's a DX11 card rather than 10.

  • @LewieTheGilly its not about the temp its about the tdp. Especially with this cas which has only one fan so a reference cooler with direct heat exaust is probably the best way the keep the CPU and PSU from picking up heat

  • in all fairness a budget pc shouldnt have a 100 dollar case

  • @ThePewis IT was $78 NOT 100 holy crap I never said it was $100 I said $70-$90

  • @IDannyxss Plus tax and shipping it is at leased $100 for this POS LianLi Mini case and in comparison I payed $65 plus tax out the door for my AntecOneHundred Case and it is a full on Mid Tower with all the good stuff that you would expect and more for a Mid Tower budget case.

  • That little computer is surprisingly fast! My old setup with Phenom II 720 X3 @ X4 3.5GHz & 4890 1GB would have had a hard time keeping up with it, atleast when we watch 3Dmark06 results and FPS'ses. Good job!

  • ITX pc's rulle.

  • @nooblady2310 the 285 is a little old and i believe it runs also not the coolest so i think the 560 is not a bad choice at all...

  • hey what kind of laptop do you have? is that a new lenovo thinkpad? if so what model? considering buying one

  • You can OC without multipliers on the H61/H67 chipset?

  • I seriously thought he would make a like 200 dollar PC with those parts in the start:P

  • No temp readings?

  • I nearly clicked the dislike button. lol

  • you overspend my man

sorry guys do like you guys for two canadians chilling in basement but 90 bucks on case? my budy picked up 40 dollar case for his cheap build. AMD quad core is same price 995 and performs better

  • I have been wanting to see a fully custom water cooled ITX build. The case would have to be custom to fit a 240 rad, but it could still be done in a small form factor like that one.

  • I priced out a system today on neweggs black friday deals, it came out costing 250 bucks.

  • This is not a "budget" gaming PC.

  • nice budget build for 2011. Solid little rig.

  • Okay so basically you want a micro atx system for under $750, which main directive is for gaming?

  • Hey I actually do this quite often, can I ask your budget?

  • Question should i go for a cheaper motherboard and buy a higher graphics card

  • @jimmyjamesthunder Well how cheap ? like you should get something with good features like spend around 120-150 on a ATX board and you should be good

    Dan

  • @TheTechSource1 ok well right now i am planning on building a computer and the parts i have got are

    MSI PH67S-C43

    and a

    ASUS EAH6850

BTW my budget is like $550

  • @jimmyjamesthunder I would stay away from H61 and H67 if you want to over clock or use DDR3 1600 or faster ram. So i would get something like a MSI P67A-G43 it has a better chipset if you want to overclock or run dual cards just more room for future add ons

    Dan

  • @TheTechSource1 Thanks this is a really nice motherboard, however i am on a budget, should i get this motherboard and drop the video card down to a asus 550ti??

  • @jimmyjamesthunder No go with the faster video card, the 550Ti isnt that great the 6850 is alot faster

  • @TheTechSource1 Ok thanks this really helped but that motherboard is just out of my price range is there any other ones you can suggest that are around $100 this will really help

  • @jimmyjamesthunder I can look but ill pm you tomorrow night

  • @TheTechSource1 Ok thanks really appreciate it

  • @jimmyjamesthunder I'd go for a better motherboard, then you can improve your GPU later on. A better motherboard means you'll (in theory) have a longer lifespan of your system.

  • yea part your io shield is in your hdmi on-board port

  • @pcclanrocks I know i got to redo that iv been in a rush getting this done

    Dan

  • Bout time for the new video :D

  • why H61 :( why you buy a 100 case but not upgrade the mobo to z68 :(

  • @trannghi7707 i would rather put that money in a better cpu, than just for a chiipset...

  • @trannghi7707 for the size of a pc to get a case the could hold a full size psu and good size video card we had to spend about $70 on a case and the Z68 was way out of my price range, the motherboard I picked works great I plan on updating this pc with a I5 2500, SSD and 8GB of ram but I only spent $500 out of my pocket and the rest of the parts was stuff i had extra laying around

    Dan

  • No 3dmark vantage score? why why!!! :(

  • @Orexll because i dont know it

  • @TheTechSource1 well, you could have just ran the benchmark... i just wanted to compare it with mine :/

  • @Orexll Sorry man maybe ill download the free copy and ill post the score on the facebook page

  • i find this difficult to fap too

  • is that the *special* episode we waited for ?

  • @Prowler1 No :)

    - Dave

  • ....Skrillex !!??

  • @mitochondria24 nope

  • @TheTechSource1 just a hint at Skrillex, my bad (all lower case bad). Awesome build. I especially appreciate the attention to cable control--- the case/budget doesn't afford much slack and you have achieved utmost slack minimization <--- yeah. I just typed that...:))

  • am going to buy m18x with 580m sli ,, is there any word of a new GPU for notebook? thx

  • im not really impressed!!!! i spent about 650 to get a 2500K with Coolermaster hyper 212 EVO, rosewill ranger Mid Tower, 1tb 7200rpm 6gbps HD, 4GB 1600 ddr3 ram, 560 TI MSI twin forzr, 1000 watt Rosewill Modular powersupply, Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3

  • @akbisw When did you buy that because when i priced out the hard drive it cost $130 because of the floods, and the form factor does drive the price up. Plus the prices are in Canadian dollars not USD. you did get a good deal but i would never use a off name psu

    Dan

  • You spent quite a bit on that case. The NZXT Beta Evo is only $45 USD and it is a pretty sweet case

  • @misterpc23 That is a nice case but the point was to be an ITX gaming pc

  • @TheTechSource1 ahh ok.

  • Comment removed

  • Also how come your case is so small?

  • @ballietbran Because ITX computers are bad ass

  • haha awesome!

  • Not Bad.. Impressive

  • OMG I used to have one of them eMachines!

  • Very nice. How can you afford this?

  • Why not wait until AMD releases their HD 7000 series?

  • @xiXOTICix Probably because this is the 2011 budget PC and not the 2012 budget PC.

  • @xiXOTICix Why not wait intil AMD releases their 1100 series?

  • Nice build guys very simple gamer.

  • @WARFOX101 Thanks man. that's was the point small fast simple and great for LAns
