My parents lived in Lithuania's USSR. I was born 4 years later. I meant that in Rusia's teritory,maybe the life was better. But other connected countries such as Ukraine, Latvia Lithuania and many more, was just industrial teritories. Look, in Lithuania Soviets built Nuclear Electricity station, also, they built oil factories ad other stuff. However i wouldn't like to live in USSR. My parents told, only salaries was correct there. Everyone get how they needed to get. There was no corruprion etc.

The USSR lasted, officially, until December 25, 1991, although it was formally dissolved in December 8 and had no chance to survive after the August coup. What I mean is, there's probably another New Year Message, the 1990/1991 one, because the final year of the Soviet Union was 1991.
