that is awesome. i hate trying to pick out the right colour for lures when buying them, because some of them look so similar. this way you can make them look exactly the way you want

you can paint a scale pattern on a lure by takeing a piece of an old bait net and then holding it on the lure painting over it and then removeing the piece of netting and whala scale patterns.

That looks awsome and probably very rewarding knowing that you made it yourself. I wonder though after the cost of the mold and lure material, if it was in anway cost effective? And I'm almost posotive that after you factor in your time that a comprable lure at walmart or a sportstore would have been much cheaper. Nice hobby though if thats what you are doing it for ....
