but you missed it. The new testament never condemns anyone for not keeping the sabbath. Not one time. You said you cant think about adultery. yet Jesus said whoso looks on a woman to lust after her, hath comitted audultery with her already in his heart. One of the best things you can do is to actually stop and sit or walk, but just being alone and think about what you are doing and think about what Yahweh expects of you. Pray at least 15 minutes a day and study or read the bible at least a half hour a day. You can also listen to the bible on CD or mp3. Get exercise and meditate on what you have read. Talk to Yahweh always, not only when you are praying. I mean in your mind you can have a conversation with Him. Talk 2 Him about everything

Read 2Thessalonians chapter 2 and see why all of this deception has to happen. It is punishment that Yahweh is sending on those people who refuse to do what He says in the bible. Great question, try this: before you study or read the bible always pray first, just for a minute or so and ask the Father Yahweh to open your eyes and mind and to help you understand what you need to understand now. Ask him for wisdom, knowledge and understanding and any other good thing to ask for and He will give it to you. Read the whole bible, not just the New Testament. You can't understand the New Testament without the old testament. So start in Genesis and don't stop til Revelation

'Yeshua' is Jesus' name in Hebrew...His original name in the original language. If you believe in Jesus you believe in Yeshua...it's the same name but in the original Hebrew. Does that help?

JesusOverNWO, all 'judgement' has been given over 2 the son, so no, we don't carry out judgement as in the case of the witch. YHWH really stressed mercy and compassion and we are told however we judge, we will B judged.Of course this doesn't mean we can't know or say something is right or wrong BUT we must first make sure we are clean of that sin before passing a final judgement on someone else. Homestead, you're right, we keep the commandments because we love Jesus/Yahshua. (Mark said this too.) That is the key, we can't earn our righteousness, it is freely given to us when we repent and turn to Him which of course would mean living His way not our way. You probably already know these verses but check them out, they are so clear: 1John 2:3-6, Matthew 5:17-20, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, and of course Matthew 7:23. I think the key is WHY we keep the law, out of love for Him.

*to clarify* when I say 'key', I mean the key to WHY we keep the commandments...because we love Him, not to earn a place with Him. What is so true though, is that those who do come to Him LOVE Him and as a result WILL keep His commandments. The Holy Spirit convicts us as we live and walk in Him. When we read His words, we do see many great commandments that are good for us, sometimes we don' realize why right away. We don't keep them out of fear but out of love, He has saved us.
