The ignorance of my "fellow student" is pretty remarkable on this particular matter. The truth is that I am a political science major and I just recently read a good portion of the bill and in no way does it "protect immigrants" even if the immigrants are some how allowed to return home and retrieve their papers that still ruins their day! Furthermore the creation of this bill is in itself racist for specifying a group furthermore it is unnecessary because of Terry v Ohio which happened in1968!
As a fellow DePauw university student i am embarrassed at the lack of overall intelligence and presence of ignorance of the students here. This is supposed to be one of the best institutions for learning in the Country, yet literacy is apparently not a requirement. If any of these students read the legislation they would surely feel ignorant as well. for the legislation protects discrimination from occurring. such a sad display of the influence of such a left winged media base.
