Great actors, fun setting, real time passing, fresh ideas for episodes (not counting the last season, it started to go down hill there), a superb soundtrack, and some wickedly funny moments. Simply because: Simpsons is a cartoon. I'm a huge fan of it, but it's just that. It should be recognize for the length its' been on TV, but at least Seinfeld knew where to stop. Seinfeld made a smart move.

You know jerry sienfeld would have been paid 5 million per episode if they continued but he declined it. I have the most out right repect towards him because of that. The show is perfect and knew where to stop. And yeah simpsons shouldnt be on the list but since its on glad it's number 1. I love that show more than anything.
