  • What are those carbs called again? The name escapes me, but their the real old simple race carbs... Had an eagle as a logo

  • They are Predator Carburettors. Variable venturi (basically the same way that SU's or VV's work) so only draw as much as the engine needs. Rated at 950cfm each. We've had additional float chambers made as the only problem we could see with them is the needle valve size, and hence fuel supply to floats. Seems to work well though. Very responsive!!

  • That's it! Basically a pair of flood gates, lol...

Good to see them though, don't see them very often now.

  • And bad-ass Escort too, :)

  • impressive!

  • Thats to much power mate! How do you hook it?You could add weight and get huge slicks out back, but by then it takes from your power to weight ratio

  • It runs 18.5" treaded rear tyres (it's street legal) and on a prepped track will run a 1.4sec 60 foot, so it hooks up quite well without added weight or slicks.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • Your camera sucks dude

  • Pity about the sound quality, but that thing looks mad!!! Personally i think cosworth engines are more suited to the escorts as opposed to blown V8's. But nice work!! bet that took a bit of work
