canada's cannabis laws are somewhat relaxed, much more leniante than US, but canada's current government in power most notabley Stephen Harper their Prime Minister is trying to enact a similar US clone drug war style.
cannabis day on july 1st starts up at 2pm and starts to die down after 4:20pm, but people still continue to hang out till like 7:00PM. There are so many people gathered that its just too much for police to do anything so sometimes they don't even bother going in that area or they just watch for any violence which there isn't any I mean who fights when they are stoned? lol
Wow thats so nice to hear, precisely what we should be doing. We are definitely stronger in numbers Maybe if all us explorers of the self, put in our wealth together we can be free in a land of our own???

Well, it depends on the state I guess. They do have some big cannabis events in USA (Seattle Hemp Fest for example)

The future of Marijuana in the western world is scary. It honestly depresses me every time I get wind of the Drug War succeeding in foreign countries.
But, on the plus side, at least we all will have a bond in suffering when herb is illegal for the whole world. :)
