  • DAMN NATURE U SCARY

  • 2012?

  • So does it means tropical areas are best place to stay? In My country Philippines we had temperatures of 38-40 degree Celsius during summer if it plunges by 10 degree our crops can still grow. Even on Monsoon and cold season in the last quarter.. Our average day time temperatures was still hovering around 20-30 degrees. Of course some exceptional cases (which happens rarely perhaps just only twice last year if I can remember) during night.. where it drops to 15-20 degrees...

  • @Anubayan7 I would actually assume that places adjusted to warmer climate would be effected the most. It won't effect area's like Canada and Alaska as bad, because the wildlife and environment are already adjusted to the cold! My opinion...

  • If it does explode I have faith that America can handle it. Remember Katrina?

  • it depend how this volcano will erupt, if it erupts in one giant explosion then we are pretty much screwed or it could erupt in series of vents

  • @Epickitkat2009 i live in england too, doesn't mean we escape anything and typically the eruption will make our weather appalling, it will screw up the gulf stream and surfer dioxide released by the eruptions will plunge northern Europe into an ice age, so its actually unlucky that we live in england :/

  • @R3ble123 Move to Bulgaria. We are safe because we won't be effected much.

  • If there was an earth quake right now that could explode.

  • lucky i live in england lol

  • @Epickitkat2009 It doesn't matter if you live in englund, You would suffer even more, Cause The ash cloud from yellowstone could cover the sun's rays, making darkness fall upon the earth for days, or weeks, you dont think thats bad, well, we need the sun in order to survive. You would suffer even more then us in the United states. I live in Idaho so i would probably die withen minutes.

  • @WakeupnowandResist

I too live near Yellowstone, everyone at equal latitude from Yellowstone should flee north, perhaps even into Canada. The ash cloud will blanket most of the US during the first 7 days, spreading eastward. After that ash settles, it is the GASSES from the eruption that go all the way up into the stratosphere, that remain for years and circle the globe, that block out sunlight...

  • wow!!

  • enjoy life today people....=) no matter what

  • ummm......will it reach New York? i mean the ash probably will....right? i hope not....

  • Comment removed

  • ^^^ Ya that was a FAKE geologist that was trying to predict an eruption, actually funny stuff

  • 2012 - it's coming !

  • 2012 is just a date and number, there's no way to know when Yellowstone will really erupt. Yellowstone is why the Amish way of life is a dead end, why we can't afford Anarchy or a return to old ways of living. When yellowstone erupts it will be survival of the fittest, and only the technologically fittest will survive.

In Vitro Meat Vat grown Foods, Geothermal Energy, Waste recycling these things will be the difference between survival and extinction in a thousand year winter under a grey sky

  • @Valmarith: A 'thousand year winter'?!? I don't think so........now a 2, maybe 3, year winter? Not so farfetched.

  • most likely

  • Wait... do you people know it just erupted some time ago?

  • Everyone always talks about yellowstone erupting, but if you look at 4:26 it looks like there are 3 in the US and Canada alone.

  • There are, and not just on this continential plate alone. Given what is coming, and what is happening in and around the world, the number of both "hot-spots" as well as new volcanic activities both on the surface and underwater are going to increase, create new ones, and also erupt and "join" old(er) ones also. Current projections are that Yellowstone will erupt around April to May next year. Continue with your research, and studying of these facinating natural reactions! And until we talk again

  • @Hawk3766 you know, I'd really love a link in PM if its possible, that says this yellowstone thingy is gonna blow us to oblivion in 2010 lol

  • I wonder if this can reach the West Coast......

  • I hope I am alive for this!

  • Why would you even say anything like that? Yellowstone's supervolcano erupting is one of the worst things that can happen on this planet. It can kill millions of people. If you saw the movie 2012, you wouldn't have said it.

  • it would be interesting

  • i live in maryland i am save

  • if this ever happens, i wanted to had a long, good life, and i wanted to see the explosion:P

  • when kicatoya erupted........we got FRANKENSTIEN.................mary shelley

  • yeah. it will cause a volcanic winter or whatever its called across the globe

  • This volcano will wipe out the entire westerns seaboard ALL the way to Tornado Alley, (Pyroclastic Flows) Then the ash will destroy everything else.

  • the sad thing is that even if it does not happen in your life time knowing it will erupt the future killing alot of people.

  • yes, the West coast would be uninhabitable

  • most important question is will we be able to breath the air?!?!?!

  • i live in evanston wyoming so when it goes i am gone

  • move!

  • Wow!! If that baby blows America is toast!!

  • dat's gona happen soon or later =)

  • Lets hope we will die from old age before it erupts D:

  • any day now ppl, any day! (the world woll pretty much end when it erupts)

  • *gulp* I live in the Rockies.

  • ash would reach the east coast.

  • The greates show on earth!!!

@ puncheex: you're right! A smaller eruption is far more likely. But just as the Big One will one day happen along the San Andreas-fault, a supereruption in Yellowstone (or another location->its likely we haven't even discovered them all) WILL eventually happen. The only question is whether mankind will still exist when it happens (meteors, climate change, environmental catastrophy, (nuclear) wars...). BTW, our species has barely survived the last one at Toba(Indon.)

  • I'll risk it.

You gotta wonder: the speak of "10,000 times an atom bomb..." while showing a frame house burning. The NYU guy is a factor of 4 off, though 2500x Mt St Helens is certainly enough. They don't mention the smaller eruptions that have happened since the 640,000 year-ago biggie, which is much more likely. They are describing the absolute worst case.

  • Allegedly, the Bible Codes predict that Yellowstone blows in April 2010...Have a great summer....It may be your last....

  • I just got back from visiting yellowstone two weeks ago. Unbelivable. It was absolutely georgous there. It was a weird feeling knowing I was standing on top of something like this and it was always in the back of my mind the whole time.

  • it's awesome

Everyone, if you don't want to suffer when it erupts, unfold an armchair inside or next to the volcano so it pulverizes or vaporizes you instantly. Stay in the USA and you will die from ash inhalation, which is always extremely painful, but pretty quick. If you're outside the USA, it's likely you will die of starvation, which is excruciating and can last a huge amount of time.

  • right when i start liking my life. great

  • very scary supervolcano

  • fuck my life

  • that scary ,i go to yellowstone see the wolves ???

omg what gonna happed to animal

  • probably get toasted; just a guess.

  • id like to sniff all that dust/ash that comes out of the volcano.

Problem solved now cool the lava XD

  • me 2 lol but i live in london

  • i hope this happens tonight - i dont wanna go to school tomorrow

  • 3d ppl

  • Nothing to worry about when it blows just get a kids school desk and rememnber to "duck and cover"!

  • scary stuff. i live at least 200 miles from yellowstone : (. its wierd that under all that scenery is a huge volanco

  • Yeah, I lived in Rapid City and then Billings for a while, used to go there all the time. I'd like to live there, until I heard this! I knew it was there but didn't think it could blow.

  • wow cool ,you live near yellowstone but scary the same time

  • Good video

  • FUCK YES.

  • destroy everything!? my house too?

  • Interesting. Well that is the way how the nature eliminates all the weak from the world hahaa

  • Just in time!

  • I ave tried to pset a video but, I have been censord. in my words, I have said this, waht have we learned from MT St Hellens. theses are the questions we need to have answered, has there been ground deformation? Has there been chagnes inthe gysers, has there been changes in gass and water chemistry? From waht I understand Yellow sone is a touchy system..if these quakes are of Unusual type as being stted, then we are in deep doodoo

  • The problem is not the amount of EQs they are having its the TYPE of EQs they are having. Its more complicated and thats why its an issue right now. Honestly it doesn't look good... it could be awhile, but long story short we ARE going to get hit with this eventually, its not IF but WHEN. And yet we're not making any preperations for this to happen when it runs a good risk of wiping us out. Makes me think IS a secret program existing for some to survive anything that happens (inc nuke war etc).

  • Its actually normal for yellowstone though. To have earthquakes. They had 3000 earthquakes once i read.

  • If this thing erupt and all of us die some people would be saved and that is the astronauts floating in space i wish i could float in space too

  • No, also people who are going to be evacuated by the military to go underground. They already have everything down there, food, tv, people etc.. to rebuilt mankind. Its sad how people don't know. Pretty soon the magnetic reversal on earth will trigger the yellowstone big eruption. It's going to happen, pray that it is delayed.

  • Repent your sins to our savior, Jesus, and pray. It will be in Gods hands, and only His.

  • :)

do you agree that these things that are happening are signs?!

i do like the earthquakes and volcanoes and the war and everything else

    reply to me please

i think jesus is coming really soon

  • they had like 500 earthquakes since the last 3 weeks it usally erupes ever 600,000 years but now its been 640,000 since the last eruptions... my teacher is scaring the crap out of our grade about this a while ago they made a movie (scifi) of this but now it might actullaly happen...

  • why isnt this on the news stations??!!!! that lets me know its not bullshit. because they only report on bulshit that never happens and the fact that theyre not talking about a supervolcano that could wipe us all out is very disturbing.

  • i saw a story about this on fox news today.

  • nice 2 know how im gunna die. 2 south america i go!

  • Bye Bye, USA, Finally Justice!!

  • ROFL!! Wait til you see the justice in store for the Netherlands. It will be wiped off the map..YEAH!!!

  • Posted by geologist Christopher C. Sanders on January 1, 2009.

"I am advising all State officials around Yellowstone National Park for a potential State of Emergency. In the last week over 252 earthquakes have been observed by the USGS. We have a 3D view on the movement of magma rising underground. We have all of the pre warning signs of a major eruption from a super volcano. - I want everyone to leave Yellowstone National Park and for 200 miles around the volcano caldera."

  • yeh shit. we're dead.

  • The guy looks like a freak, but he makes sense. Something's up, and it wouldn't hurt to be safe. It would hurt if you get blown into thousands of pieces.

  • well it would hurt in the morning. lol

  • hahaha. Good stuff

  • woah... is this true? I didn't know they had 252 earthquakes!!!

  • yeah its true, but it came to a complete standstill as of 6:30pm friday. absolute silence. after a whole week of rumbling..nothing!

  • I hear they have had over 400 tremors in the last 2 weeks & a real danger the scientists think its about to blow. The animals are behaving very oddly, they know.

  • i haven't heard anything about the animals yet but yeah, lots of earth quakes started on dec. 26th

  • the animals are always the 1st to know when something is really up. Its bad news, some scientists are very very concerned as its behaving very different as to what its done in the past. I hope it doesn't blow because it could spell the end for all of us with toxic dust in the atmosphere lowering the overall temperature by at least 20 deg. that will kill off 90%+ of the worlds living things & some.

  • it stopped yeah... but i dont think its over. the sudden silence itself seems to be a concern. im out.

  • run mate run, the calm before the storm.

all of a sudden the ground will shake & then you remember nothing, your dead. get at least 1000 miles away & up from the winds, NOT down. the dust will kill you slow...

  • at least it will cure, "global warming"...which really is a hoax to begin with...

  • Good idea - Be sure to tell the terrorists all they need to do is place a small nuke there & trash the usa completely

  • yea ok there Dr. Evil

  • Drat !, My secret identity is known!...

To the Evil Crapmobile & escape !!

    ehehehehehehehh.....

    Start dang you!

    Start !

  • ooo f uck

  • The video says the event will begin with increasing seismic activity, and from what I gather from the earthquake map and other sources, this is happening right now. If it's going to explode, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near there.

  • 400 earthquakes since last week is a good indicator that something big is coming.

  • I think the History Channel CGI dept. has been watching way too many movies. Not saying that it can't/won't happen, but their video interpretation seems a bit exaggerated. Just my opinion.

  • since december 26th 2008 yellowstone has been rumbling with a "unusual" swarm of earthquakes. I've never seen this many this large, (and I've been watching)

  • Yellowstone caldera national park....knock knock.....

  • Very stimulating. Basically for the whole 8 minutes the H. channel showed us some special effects and repeated over and over that "it's gonna go boom". Let's see the part II.
