Hi, i had my iphone 3gs 3.1.3 firmware 05.12.01 jailbroken & unlocked coz i purchased it not knowing it had a phone block put on by Optus (Australian network provider)

Got da phone back was told never 2put an Optus sim in da phone incase it blocked da phone again.. So i didn't, i put my Vodafone sim in made one call, changed my caller i.d 2send & i downloaded a ringtone from itunes..

Now when i try 2make a call it goes straight to a voice msg saying that da handset has call barring.. PLEASE HELP

@MrAJsTech Hi I was able to unlocked my 3gs (3.1.3) a week ago and it worked when I inserted my international sim. Now when I took off my international sim and put back my AT&T sim. Today I tried putting my international roaming sim. It says no service. 3G turned off, I also Reseted the network settings. But to no avail. I also reboot the device then it was searching for network for a minute or two then later it just said NO SERVICE. Is there a glitch on the ultrasn0w?any help will b great thx

Even though you unlock and jailbreak. It will only last you 14 days. Apple has said in there contract that when you update to ios4 or iTunes 9.2. Any iPhone on that software will get a message every 14 days that they need to plug in there iPhone 4 and restore or update. If you have a jailbroken iPhone on ios4 (including iphone4) your iPhone will send a message to apple saying that the warranty for that iPhone is no more.

@peterzinfandel Dunno if you're still having a problem with this, but I HEARD that no iPhone, whether jailbroken or not, will be compatible with T-Mobile 3G. I also saw a video a few days ago of someone unlocking his iPhone and using a T-Mobile sim, but he turned 3G off. He didn't explain why but that could be the reason :)

@lemon271121 there is a jailbreak for old bootrom 3gs's but there are requirments you have to be jailbroken on 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 without the use of spirit... this tagets very little users uncluding me so in my eyes i doont see the jailbreak worth it but if you are one of those i would be glad to help you out contact me on skype : fitbikeco10

This does not work on iPhone 2G, iPhone 2G stopped getting baseband updates a long time ago. If you want to unlock the iPhone 2G, you need to download Bootneuter from Cydia. UltraSn0w unlocks basebands from 3.0 - 4.0, 4.26.08, 5.11.07, 5.12.01, 5.13.03, and 5.13.04 basebands.
