    Do you need to put a release agent on the mold?

  • @scootroc59 yes you can reuse the body after you make the mold, make sure you spray a mold release agent on it b4 you pour the plaster into i

  • @scootroc59 yes it is pegboard, its a plastic pegboard i had sitting around, but any thich pegboard will work,, and a release agent will be needed, i used cooking spray ,like Pan, it worked for me

  • What are you using for the vacuum former itself? Looks like pegboard.

  • On the first mold attempt,couldn't you use Bondo to fill in the holes & sand down until smooth?

  • im so glad that there are people who take the time to show others how to do something great video thanks im gonna b making slash bodies what are the dimensions of the lexan cause the slash is about the same size as the blitz and i dont want to end up with a piece thats to small to mold a body is it a 16X24 thanks

  • Hi, do you get any issues with heat buildup? Looks like a pretty big mass of plaster... does the heat soften/damage the original body? Thanks for sharing this. Cool!

    Might it be possible to displace some of the plaster in the middle with something (like a tupperware perhaps) to take up some of the volume? Just an idea.

  • lol, you selling these? slash bodies? would be sweet to have a body that i wouldn't have to worry about landing topside on

  • i will be selling them, but im testing different pastics at this point, pollycarbinet and vivak plastics
