do you have a problem with the starlings where you are located i havnt seen them in your vids thus far but was just wondering. Also i noticed that you said the doves are non game birds, are you meaning that they are totally protected or just not in season cuz where i am from you can shoot them in season as long as you have the right licence?
@TheSniper0701 Yes we do have a problem with starlings. They hangout around the buildings in the city or are always in spots I can't shoot. As far as the doves, they are protected here for some reason. I wish I could shoot them because they are just as bad as the pigeons in population.
nice shooting, ive got a .177 and a .22, sadly limited to 12ftlbs as per uk law - ignore the haters, the works gotta be done, good work on the vids - keep them coming
MrFryguy....awesome videos. Keep them coming. Don't pay any attention to the rest of the posters who are negative. I have squirrels in my backyard now and they are tearing everything up. I live in a townhome complex backed to the woods. No way can I use a pellet rifle not to mention the neighbors would freak out. I think squirrels are very territorial. If you kill one, many others will take its place no matter how much you may thin the herd. They will keep coming back. Nice job!!
I read that some fire researchers believe 20% of house fires may be caused by squirrels chewing on wires. I've experienced gray squirrels chewing through the soffit and chewing wires in the attic. I've also had gray squirrels chew the wires of cars parked in a rustic driveway for a long time. And for any noobs who don't know, house sparrows are a menace. Among other things, they have killed off much of the bluebird population.
I need to start making hunting vids. I think its funny when people leave hate comments, all they can do is say stuff about it, but they cant stop it, lol. I love hunting squirrels and birds in my backyard.
great video,s and professional attitude to pest control, , i do the same across the pond in Essex England,i shoot grey squirrels, rats, rabbits, wood pigeons, crows, magpies, foxes,
on x15 differnt shoots, keep up the great video,s ,and thank you,
I had a nice pear tree in my yard every year it had about 50 or so pears on it for five years these little bastards ate every one so I ate them finally I cut it down.
Hi, Totally agree with you over the negative remarks and also that you do not class the coments as feedback. The little sparrows that you shoot are known as common house sparrow although its protected, forgot to say that i am in UK. Thoughly enjoy your video's although if i have to pick fault with them it would be that they are too short. Keep it uo Fella.
I noticed the reply you left about the alleged problems squirrels cause.Have you personally had ALL of those things happen to your home/property?Why do you feel sparrows are a nuisance? They look like healthy creatures just trying to get by.I have the same type of gray squirrels where I live and I feed them, birds too.I have had to reattach a corner of screening with a staple gun on our back porch. Not a big deal imo.
@ntrickn Yes, some of those things have happened. The problems happen when the number of squirrel are so great that they do and eat things not are not natural. To have a "health" population, there cannot be any "overpopulation." My yard was overpopulated to the point that they were eating everything and anything. The next natural progression is for them to start killing themselves and/or bring disease. I am just being proactive and not reactive to the problem at the same time entertaining people
@ueoaoeu They chew the facia boards of your house and try to get in to the soffits and once in the attic, they eat insulation chew on the wires potentially causing a fire, chew the lids on the garbage can, they destroy your gardens in the spring and summer, they chewed the roofs off of 2 bird houses, chew the bark off of the base of nice hard wood trees, they uproot your lawn to find what ever to eat, just to name a few things. And no they aren't worth the pellet I shoot them with.
Whoa! Negative comments, that’s ridiculous. Rest assured you are doing a great sevice.I spent THOUSANDS on repair, and still they try to get in. I cut down all the trees within 15 feet of my home, more thousands, and now they tight rope across the electrical service wires! A head shot is a very elegant and inexpensive solution to a very serious problem in suburbia where the lowly squirrel is the top predator.Keep up the good work. Nice shots, by the way. SPARKS
Hey, good tip, I had not thought of that.. thanks! The dove season here is the month of September. We have both band-tailed and mourning doves. I like having them around, both to hunt, and just to watch. They are amazing birds.
i have seen all your vids and was wondering where do you live. i live in long island, new york and i live next to a feed place that makes food for animals and i have chickens so i have a bird and rat nusance problem to. i just bought a crossman 764sb and was wondering what your opinion on what the best small bird air rifle is?and i like the hd regular speed but i like the slow mo better.
@cheezburger961 I think the Crosman 764sb will do just fine for the small birds. Just make sure you use pellets and not BB's. I also would not shoot past 35 yards. I live in New England
I feel like such a douchbag after watching and laughing at all of these, but i will gladly accept my fate if it means i get to see this man ruthlessly slaughter the little fluff balls on his property. It reminds me of the time i retook my grandfathers garden from a pack of Armadillos. I swear, one charged at me before i could put it down. It took 4 bullets through the head, and 2 in the body to take down the alpha male. good times.....
was going for a gamo, dont really want to spen the money on the bigger stuff, just need something to bring down medium sized targets at 50 yards or so.what do you think for a good springer with a good scope?
@mrFyrguy5 I've got a cheapie Ruger Air Hawk / Crosman Quest and the accuracy from the factory sucked. It's fixable though, the barrel pivot needed to be shimmed.
Nice job! what exactually are you baiting them with? it brings alot in and i would like to get rid of some squirrels myself but they just wont sit still! Also have you ever thought about using a break barrel pellet gun?
@baseballwiffleball They're just eating bird seed with whole sun flower seeds. If you want them to sit for a minute, mix sun flower seeds with peanut butter and put the mix where you want and leave them alone for a couple days, but don't forget to keep feeding. As far as a break barrel, I have a Gamo Silent Cat that I use to use until I bought the Marauder.
The anti hunting crowd needs to know that everything is not sunshine and lollypops. Pesting is sometimes necessary. Especially with foreign species like the house sparrow also known as the english sparrow, which obviously isn't from around these parts.

@ameer4666 I don't really know anything about that gun, but if I had to guess, I would say alot of power and short barrel is the problem. Try to dial the power down some more and see. I'm sure its fine. you just have to find the sweet spot. Good luck
