OMG!!! He is just Too Cute and Too Funny! The thing that people dont understand is that macaws are screamers by nature and this kind of talking to him is natural. She is not yelling at him, she is playing on his level. I have been a birdy person for 30 plus years and have owned many types of exotic birds and they love to play and scream and talk. It is natural! Your baby is a doll, just precious indeed! Great video!! :)

She is not screaming...she is being very vocal, exactly what Macaws do & love to do...the louder you are with them, the more they enjoy it. Anyone that owns Macs know how much they adore loud play. Just listen to how they vocalize...I have never heard a timid whisper from a Macaw.

Many birds need to be loud or sing, or they end up unhappy and stressed out from lack of being social.

Vocalization is important for healthy lungs, cirrculation, red blood cells, muscle structure on a cellular level. (no not iphone) off subject some, but I allow my birds to let it roar just for those reasons. They keep it acceptable most ofthe time. Now isn't one of those times.

My big birds all love when I get loud and vocal with them. happy birds in good homes don't have anger hang-ups like humans. To the ones freaked about yelling; have you heard a room full of birds? I have been told that mine can be heard a block and a half away, inside a gas station. they are loud when they play, when I join in, they get the stimuli they enjoy without negative hang-ups. the downside is... the NOISE omg the noise, it's happening now, but they sure have fun.

Parrots actually like it (as long as your not being aggressive) they think your vocalizing back at them like other parrots do. parrots love being loud. Thats why some parrots like to bite people cuz they like the yelling reaction and think its entertaining. the more drama the better lol

@neverboardproduction She's not screaming at Ringo. Birds love it, absolutely LOVE IT when you get vocal and all excited, as she is doing. Its stimulating, and when you get excited, they get excited. It helps when teaching them to speak. If they like how it sounds when you say it, they'll pick it up. She's not hurting Ringo. It's clear that he's loving every minute of this playtime with his mum.

It's clear to me that he enjoys the way you're talking to him, which proves to me you don't say it to him in anger.

I have a Quaker who picks up on sounds he enjoys, and he says (among other things) 'Stop it', 'Get out' and 'Go away'. Some people assume he leared it from me telling off my birds and get worried, but the truth is that I never say those things to the birds, only the cats, and that's where he learned it.

I know this bird personally and can tell you that it comes from the most loving home and this cute little bird is like their child. They have saved many different birds from difficult situations and the people this bird owns are wonderful people. The bird in the video loves to play and say the word no and is a joker.
