I was on my honeymoon in Italy and as a simple minds fan from Glasgow I managed to blag tickets for this show, When they played waterfront and dont you , I thought my heart was going to burst, apart from the honeymoon this was the best night of my life
my dad followed these guys all over the country for 20 years.... always bragging about how no live band can compare to the simple minds, and after viewing this, i reckon he was absolutely right
@mrbassman25 without exaggeration your father is right, the Simple Minds always had the most energizing and euphoric concerts, most specially when Mick MacNeil was at the keyboards! As you know, now Jim Kerr runs a hotel in Verona, I wish I could visit it when he's there!
That`s what I like to hear, the solid and powerful kick drum sound Mel Gaynor gets.
Too many bands put a pillow in the bass drum to muffle it down, the drums and bass play a huge role in the momentum of a song, it`s those two things that "drive" the song and put the feel of it in the music that the listener reacts to. When the bass drum is muffled down the song loses it`s drive.

I was in this concert it was wonderful that day I was visiting my family in Verona had the opportunity of the Coliseum that I do it with them. Gave to me nice memories.
