  • @azureisacolor They were starting to get a bigger stage. When they imploded they were opening the main stage AND closing the second stage on the Lolapalooza tour. Sad day.

  • I agree with all of you that believe this band was the most underrated band of the 90's; I was 14 years old and a freshman in high school when a freind of mine turned me on to these guys. It blew my mind! Great songs and melodies with a twist of meloncholy mixed into it. Ken Andrews had a spacy invision to the bands music and captured to a tee with the third album. Thank you for posting these videos; much respect.

  • Reunion Please! Everybody else did it! Now its time for Failure! Bring back the much need rock to the world.

  • Sooo fucking undicovered in the 1990's

  • I fucking love this band.

  • My name is Jack Woodward. I've spent the past few years churning out music as fast as possible. Most cats record an album a year and call it a day. They deliberate on the shit that they're going to do before hand and deface the initial inspiration into obliteration. I try to capture it at the moment of conception. I don't question what I'm being told, I just write it down. Check out my music videos to hear the songs I conceived in this fashion.

  • @bassgod89 that is what we call jamming.

  • daaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy light won't find us here. I love this. thank you.

  • FAILURE = ORGASM

  • BEST BAND OF ALL TIME RIGHT HERE!

  • kelli does sweet trick with drum stick at 2:14

  • OMG they finished with Daylight. Why the fuck would I even want an encore after that. Seriously...what show is this?

  • Its kind of one of those things where the right people need to be present to make it a great event. Youve got the band but missing the right crowd. Wonder who they were playing with?? Bad Genre mix maybe??

    Wish I were there......

  • @phinko most of this tour (where they played the Fantastic Planet stuff with the backing tracks) had Ednaswap opening...

  • It's amazing how NOT into the song the audience is... I who have been salivating.

  • @kumaraisin Dude - I used to bang a chick to this album. I only wish I had been able to hear them live.

  • Oh FAILURE, So Fucking Great! Saw Them On This Tour In San Francisco, And They Made The Walls Melt, and The Roof Blow Off Slim's! Greatest Loud Band Ever!

  • One of the best songs ever... the rest are made by Failure too XD.... they are the mean of good music :3

  • Saw Failure when they opened for Tool. An amazing band and should have stuck around!

  • @tropica73 They opened for Tool? When was this? You learn something new everyday, cool.

Epic outro song to an awesome album.

  • It was 93 or 94, Tool's Undertow tour in Toronto, ON. Was an amazing show, still 2 of my fav bands.

  • My god. Wish I would have stumbled on this earlier. Great stuff.

  • One of the most underrated bands of the 90s. Of all time in my opinion.

  • i agree my friend!

  • One of my all-time favorites! If you like, you can watch my cover from my videos. it's in a very crappy quality though.. But this song is just so awesome.. :)

  • Perfect..

  • best song off fantastic planet

  • And Stemage does a song on it right?

As much as I hate advertising on Youtube, I want to check it out now that you've mentioned it.

  • i really, really love this song. it's almost painful to listen to near the end.

  • One of my favorite Faulire songs. Had the experience of hearing it live twice last week, in virginia and philly on Ken's solo tour. Anyone who can see him on this tour, do it! He's playing failure, ON, YOTR and stuff off his new solo cd. Also one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting.

  • you bastard, i was supposed to go see Ken up in ATL. I'm very envious, lucky guy. I got to see Autolux twice in 2005 though, that was pretty awesome.

  • is there a keyboard player in this group or is it just the guitarists using "airy" effects? It seems like they ahve a lot of spacey songs?

  • You should buy all of their records.... Your're missing out!

  • ha ha...yeah, well, I just found them on myspace. I'm gonna listen to some more songs too! Thanks again...GREAT quality on these vids ya got!

  • I was lucky enough to have a father who loved Failure, so I grew up with them. 10 years later I still love them.

  • @fmbighair Ken Andrews (the guitarist/singer) use suspended chords quite a lot, as well as drop tuning on his guitars (E flat). Many songs use other instruments as well. He explains that in another video on here about the song "Stuck on You". That particular song has a distorted piano in it. Hope that answered your question! ;^)

    Cheers!

  • they are playing to a loop...that's why the drummer has headphones on.

  • @fmbighair it's part guitar and part prerecorded keyboard no keyboardist
