I have painted and appliqued ready-made, usually "throw away" shirts for many years, and I love your work. You don't let the details of the garment distract you. You use the shirt as if it were truly a blank canvas, which has inspired me to try a new approach. I typically look at the most distinctive feature of the garment and let that be the center point. Time to let loose...

Have you heard of blue fish? They have these really funky cotton clothes that you can buy plain to paint on. Love these!
