Volition had nothing to do with the PC version of SR2. CD Projekt Localization Centre ported it. Volition made the console versions and had nothing to do with the PC port. Volition made the PC version of SR3 however, and apparently that's much better optimized than SR2's PC version. I even heard that it isn't a port.

@QWERTYCommander i own sr3 and they did a much better job, and its not a port, highly recommended game if your pc can handle it. what i found disturbing about the sr2 port was its complete lack of official support, so many were left disappointed, despite some rogue patches smoothing out the performance significantly.
