I didn't say he was a creationist. Many people who purport to be knowledgeable of the Evolutionist-Creationist debate refuse to admit any other category. Gould leaned toward some sort of evolution, but he also pinpointed serious, and IGNORED, I think purposefully, inconsistencies in evolutionary theory. Namely, the fact that fossil records does not agree with the gradualism of nature, which is the most essential "tenet" of evolutionism.
