  • Beautiful!

  • As a fellow organist, I like your playing but pity you can't link your organ into a computer and use Hauptwerk, the sound is so much better :-)

  • oh so well done, that makes one cunger up all sorts of evil pernicious thoughts. You have done a spendid job indeed

  • There's a gorgeous recording of this sung by the great and immortal soprano Kirsten Flagstad. There's something about it that conjures up (for me at least) the real glory of England, especially prior to World War II. Maybe I'm living in fantasyland, but there's something about this music that makes me think of how much England endured during World War II, and how many Brits suffered.

  • Wake up yaself Gepner you turd, if your English and proud, stand up and be counted! if not, do 1 pal!!!

  • Hear, hear!!

  • are people serious.. why would we want this as our national anthem!!! the one we have got is bad enough, and ppl think we shud have this has our national anthem.. seriously wake up to yourselves!!!!

  • At least the lyrics are closer to being about england than some stupid monarch who sponges money she doesn't even need from the rest of country!

  • Go back to sleep . Or wake up and learn something. You fool the monarchy is cheap at triple the cost to the country.

By the way when do you collect your gevernment (dole) money.. No im not knocking you . Im sure your great value to the whole country.

  • Oh how very broad minded of you. Knocking me just cos you happen to have a different opinion.

I have a job thank you very much. And a very rewarding one.

As it happens I was born and bred in the UK. I just never bought into the hype of praising someone just cos they occasionally wander round and say hi to people, or wave from a balcony. Its a bit to godlike to me.

But you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. Have a nice day xD

  • Ok im SORRY . For any comment that caused offense. Thats not my aim here .

However can I say your comments about the monarchy , do offend me . Her majesty cannot be treated the same way we might treat a politician . Please learn the truth about our monarch before you make this mistake again .

Her majesty the Queen is more than worthy of our loyalty and love.

Why do I say this ? Check it out !! Its not a hard subject to reaearch.

Best of British to you !!

  • @skuboodle: We only individually pay The Queen 61p which I think is a bargain for all she does for her country

  • @kanenkitten Long live the Queen.

  • @AlexanderVan: Hear Hear!

  • we dont even have an anthem!

  • don't worry, you can borrow this one...we're all the same, really! :)

  • IF anything England by the angelic upstarts should be our anthem, listen

    and learn.

  • Wonderful Thankyou

  • Thank you this was a real treat for us.

  • thanks for the lovely comments and glad you liked it.

  • Excellent! So precise. Really enjoyed the clarity and the tempo was held superbly.

  • EXCELLENT nice performance and great sounding Organ - thanks for sharing.

  • Wonderful. You did an excellent job.

  • is this actually a pipe organ?? It sounds very analogue like, playings good though!

  • the analogue like sound is the vid cam, the organ is digital but is certainly the best of its kind I've ever played. I have some others I did with a better video recorder...will post them instead!

  • 5 stars - very organic!

  • I'm learning that piece from ear on the piano..making up everything haha =)

  • thanks for your comments. Its a really great piece!

  • Superb! Brava! TY.

  • Thats not a bad sound for a practice organ! Very nice playing too, I love that song. I used to play organ at church for a while when I was 16, but I didn't keep it up for that long cos I always got really nervous! My dad's a great organist and my granny plays everyday in loads of churches all round the city. Again, well done, really enjoyed the vid! :)

  • Beautiful!

  • God i wished i played the organ like that..

  • that's very kind! you didn't see how many takes I did though!!!

  • many thanks for your lovely comments!!

This organ is my own little practice organ, its the Westmorland Classic II made by a firm in the North of England called Makin. Its the best digital organ I've ever heard and has the feel of a decent pipe organ too. I always prefer a good old pioe organ, but its a good note-basher! Where do you play?

  • Erm,, most of the time I'm practicing on a 1991 Neo-Classical (pipe)organ by the Dutch organ builder Reil. More or less focused on the period just before the 19th century.

But I've also got 3 other pipe organs at my disposal, as I'm church organist. So I can practise whenever I want, at whatever organ I want. (We've even got an English one, by Fleetwood, 1880's or 90's ...)

  • I'm in Holland, so we've got quite some churches and organs. I guess I'll be coming to Britain this spring though..

    Yours,

    LSA (16yrs)

  • Hi!!

    Lovely stuff:-)

    Parry does rock!

    So does Elgar.

What kind of organ is this you are hopping manuals on?? (you're doing that a lot indeed, btw)
