I have heard this song before and for some reason today I really heard it in church this morning. I am not one to cry in front of people and yet i let loose .Last week my son and i were babtized together and something has changed. I cant explain it but i am seeing things differently. I love this song, and don't get me wrong, Kari has a great voice. But there is a girl at my church who sings this so beautifully, I have a hard time not crying (and I am not a crying person). It gets to the point where I forget to come in (i'm also on the worship team) Thank you to whoever wrote this song.

I had a vision, like a movie in broad daylight I couldn't look away from, and saw everything I ever did that held me in self-contempt, regret, and guilt. I see prayer answered in such supernatural ways there's no denying it, over and over and over. He's not an idea, a concept, a superstition. He is risen, alive, and at the right hand of the Father, still doing miracles, as I am one. Unbelief blinds us to miracles in front of our face.

@IvanTheHealer I know. When we live as the salt, we don't have to be intentionally irritating, as it will come with the territory. Spiritual blindness merged with empiricism(belief that our disciplines of science, cosmology, mathematics, physics, etc.) as the only way to discover or know things just boils me. @wireless4me He is also a God of mercy, he came to Earth Himself, and died on a cross so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He took the penalty of our sins so that we didn't have to burn in Hell, I know I don't want to experience Hell, I know enough of what it's going to be like from what the Bible says about it. He gave us a chance, and that is by following Acts 2:38, because without following that, you will go to Hell, God won't send you to Hell, you'll send your self there.

@wireless4me My Christian friends that raise their children by the Bible, and I mean truly raise their children by the love that Jesus spoke of, these kids are living a truly productive life. Before I got saved my life was full of hate and discontent much like the way you are acting now but after I gave my life as sacrifice to God I live a productive life and so does my wife. My two boys have been raised in church and both are straight A students and I never get calls from the school about them.

@wireless4me Actually, even secular historians will admit that Jesus was most definitely a historical figure, and the the truth is that the Resurrection of Jesus is the most supported event in ancient history. Think about it: the Jewish leadership HATED Jesus. If the resurrection was fabricated, that fact would be screamed from history. Instead, we have silence. But the Resurrection aside, saying Jesus didn't exist removes your credibility with any thinking person.

@wireless4me Crazy Values? I like the way everyone tries to use the Bible against God. Jesus came to fulfill the law and did when he hung on the cross. That was the ultimate sacrifice of love, and Romans 13:10 says love fulfills the law. So if you live by two commandments, Love God above everything else, and Love your neighbor as yourself then you have great values and you have lived by the law. If you obey these two commandments you have obeyed them all! Christianity is reality. Not a hobby!

In Matthew 13:41-42, 50 Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: "He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death." @wireless4me Well I am a Christian but religion in general was made to try to unite the people as a whole. It was first made to answer questions and then it kind of helped people with depressions go through their own problems. It might be real or fake, but in Earth, religion is needed for less fortunate people like poor people or people with cancer or whatever. They get better because they believe that something (God), loves them or whatever.
But everything has its pros and cons. Babies die everyday, no one can answer that, people kill each other because of differences in their theories or thoughts about certain religions. Yeah God seems cruel and he seems like a lier, and he seems like a killer but you can't just be a hater on the subject of religion. Religion is a belief in your heart, not through logic or theories. I had a vision, like a movie in broad daylight I couldn't look away from, and saw everything I ever did that held me in self-contempt, regret, and guilt. I see prayer answered in such supernatural ways there's no denying it, over and over and over. He's not an idea, a concept, a superstition. He is risen, alive, and at the right hand of the Father, still doing miracles, as I am one. Unbelief blinds us to miracles in front of our face.

Spiritual blindness merged with empiricism(belief that our disciplines of science, cosmology, mathematics, physics, etc.) as the only way to discover or know things just boils me. I draw them like a magnet. We have become intellectually soft in the last century as a body, and Christian philosophy needs to be resurrected. Else our message to them is "just go to hell."

@wireless4me He is also a God of mercy, he came to Earth Himself, and died on a cross so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He took the penalty of our sins so that we didn't have to burn in Hell, I know I don't want to experience Hell, I know enough of what it's going to be like from what the Bible says about it. He gave us a chance, and that is by following Acts 2:38, because without following that, you will go to Hell, God won't send you to Hell, you'll send your self there.

@wireless4me My Christian friends that raise their children by the Bible, and I mean truly raise their children by the love that Jesus spoke of, these kids are living a truly productive life. Before I got saved my life was full of hate and discontent much like the way you are acting now but after I gave my life as sacrifice to God I live a productive life and so does my wife. My two boys have been raised in church and both are straight A students and I never get calls from the school about them.

@wireless4me Actually, even secular historians will admit that Jesus was most definitely a historical figure, and the the truth is that the Resurrection of Jesus is the most supported event in ancient history. Think about it: the Jewish leadership HATED Jesus. If the resurrection was fabricated, that fact would be screamed from history. Instead, we have silence. But the Resurrection aside, saying Jesus didn't exist removes your credibility with any thinking person.

@wireless4me Crazy Values? I like the way everyone tries to use the Bible against God. Jesus came to fulfill the law and did when he hung on the cross. That was the ultimate sacrifice of love, and Romans 13:10 says love fulfills the law. So if you live by two commandments, Love God above everything else, and Love your neighbor as yourself then you have great values and you have lived by the law. If you obey these two commandments you have obeyed them all! Christianity is reality. Not a hobby!

In Matthew 13:41-42, 50 Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: "He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death." (See Ex.21:15, Lev.20:9, Dt.21:18-21) So, does Jesus think that children who curse their parents should be killed? It sure sounds like it. He's such an asshole...that you praise? It was first made to answer questions and then it kind of helped people with depressions go through their own problems. It might be real or fake, but in Earth, religion is needed for less fortunate people like poor people or people with cancer or whatever. They get better because they believe that something (God), loves them or whatever.

But everything has its pros and cons. Babies die everyday, no one can answer that, people kill each other because of differences in their theories or thoughts about certain religions. Yeah God seems cruel and he seems like a lier, and he seems like a killer but you can't just be a hater on the subject of religion. Religion is a belief in your heart, not through logic or theories. I am blessed to be a small part of leading worship This Sunday and we are doing this song, everytime i sing it, i fight back tears and this is a life-changing annointed song. If it doesn't move you or touch you in some way, then something is terribly wrong. God please save those who are just as lost as i once was. God freed me from soooo many addictions, decades ago and HE was merciful so let's pray for the lost because i KNOW i had a praying Mama and Daddy. God bless you ALL!

@rarerose1 Not to be curt: it is wonderful you're inspired by this or any song. I am a born again minister, and I am unmoved by music. It is very presumptuous to believe that "something is terribly wrong". I am a logical man, not emotional, and would prefer all preaching and no music in church. As a metaphor: not everyone's favorite flavor is chocolate, some prefer vanilla, or strawberry, but we should not say anything is wrong because of their preference. Music is not a requirement for Christ.
