Haha I took the back clear protector off of the replacement glass BEFORE I glued it back in. Needless to say, it had paper glued to it. Luckily, rubbing alcohol is great removal and clean up.... What a dumbass, lol.
Thanks for posting this video & helping many people with this. YOU DO NOT NEED ADHESIVE. The sprint touchscreen I ordered from ebay for $16 (+free s/h) Just pull the protective cover from inside & that will expose adhesive. Might even cancel my insurance now... maybe.
This video was great. I can't believe you publish this information for free. Walked me right through a screen replacement step-by-step and it worked beautifully. Nice job!
I had my screen replaced on my susmsung moment but after 2 weeks it didnt turn on anymore. the query pad comes on but not the screen its just pitch black.. any one know what could have happened??? thanks..
Was that the amoled screen on a regular screen? And is it even possible to find amoled screen replacements for phones that just have normal touchscreens like the evo or evo shift.
Thank you soo Much! This helped me out, the flaps to the Digitizer, I was soo almost not gonna do as you instrusted ....saved my Phone!!! From more damage...Keep up the great work.... Dude Thanks Alot!!! oh i had a Samsung Rogue U960....

I followed this howto when I originally obtained a Moment with cracked screen which I fixed to get the contacts off (no gmail account for the previous owner) and now again, after getting another, I have a fully working Moment, but in both instances I have trouble with either WiFi, Bluetooth, or both. Is it possible that I'm doing something wrong? I notice you cut the part where you're attaching the antenna wire. Presumably the lines near the speaker are the antennas for those radios. Thanks!
Okay so I managed to remove the glass and digitizer. And before that I notice that the digitizer was NOT plugged into the phone itself (through that little paper wire thing that connects into the phone). And my phone does not turn on. So I was thinking it was due to my cracked screen. Is the problem due to the digitizer NOT being installed? Or is it something else within the phone itself? Please reply. I do not want to invest in a new digitizer for no reason. I have a Samsung Finesse. Thanks :)
Shit! I miss the chance to get a iphone4,today I must join the site. QF4 27go.info

@Patriarch66 the LCD screen may be bad. you'll have to open up the phone again, check the cable.

@MrCrayonInk95 believe it's lcd. not sure the htc evo or shift use amoled screens from the factory. if so, yes, if not, no.
