love this .... Didn't Eddie Bongo Brown play on this album too....? Probably because he played on EVERY album ever made (just about)....go Eddie go...........see u babe
@prityricky1 Are you sure about Leon Ware? On the japanese CD the only producer mentioned is Webster Lewis. Nevertheless it's an absolutely amazing production and a wonderful classic tune! :o)
sounds like a young George Benson...Perfect Mix if it was mixed with Love X Love and Give me the Night...They all have the same big punch and hot signal crispiness...
@itsreal1971 HOT SIGNAL CRISPINESS. Beautiful doll!
iromero32 is also up on it. Thanks. It took 30 years to destroy soul music. It takes a minute to hit thumbs up and thank those who keep it real. We shall overcome this rotting meat dress nothingness..........PEACE
@iromero32 This is a classic track, but I disagree with you, Big Time! People are so stuck in a certain era, there's no way they'll ever be able to objectively judge a classic of the last 30 years anyway.
You want to say standards have gone down, but really, criticism has also gone UP. If some of those same songs people loved so much came out today, you would nitpick tracks like these a LOT more, until it was impossible for them to be called classics.
@saj8 you are right in one perspective; but in the end, this song is an original that was sampled by multiple groups, in different musical eras. new music these days are sampled from sampled songs...
come on, new music TODAY doesn't compare at all. seriously, when's the last time you heard a bassline even close to this song's? do they even use basslines in new songs? nothing but drums and synthesized effects, sad
I always thought he sounded a lot like Mr. G Benson- smoooth!!!

Over 6,000 views only 9 comments 10 with mine, this tells me one thing....
We have crappy music today because people's lack of good taste is what sells.
How can you here an OG groove like this and not bob your head. GREAT JAM!
