Pada pendapat saya, video klip ini lebih berunsur propaganda, iaitu memburuk-burukkan pelajar yang tidak berpuas hati dengan kecuaian pegawai. Video ini menyatakan pelajar pernah melanggar peraturan universiti, tetapi tidak memberikan bukti yang berkaitan. Kesilapan (kalau dapat ditentukan) yang lepas juga tidak boleh digunakan untuk menafikan kesilapan pegawai dalam video klip ini, iaitu merampas hak benda orang lain dan cuba mengabaikan tugas dengan berpergi dalam kereta.... lolz
Pegawai itu yang bersalah kerana megambil brangan orang. Peraturan Universiti tidak menyatakan laptop boleh dirampas, kalau mengandungi barangan lucah. Pegawai telah menyalahgunakan kuasanya kerana tidak menjalani prosedur yang sah dalam penyiasatan. Kesilapan pegawai tidaklah disukai di mana-mana komuniti pun.

The word "serang" is wrong in this context. "Serang" means mendatangkan kecederaan fizikal kepada badan dengan menggunakan unsur keganasan . In this clip can be seen that this student just want an explaination and didnt had body contact or attack the security.

Never been in situation when my possessions got confiscated? Wohoho,... More than thrice bro. What's important, is that the student's laptop is filled up with banned stuff. Procedurally, to really prove that fact, the laptop should be kept by the authorities for a while, AS IT IS, until further notice by police/court. Handing the laptop back to the student will just open chances for the convicted to delete the banned materials found inside the laptop.
u studied in a university before and more specific in the malaysia local university? my fren a gal; her laptop got seized by security coz suspected her stealing ppl's laptop when she came back from library to do her thesis. turn out, that security guard went missing with her laptop!! tell u wat, her life ruin by this kind of security when she not be able to graduate juz bcoz she losted all her thesis data...
I'm a UPM graduate. Tadaaaaa!!! Sorry about you girl pal, but that's her problem. Couldn't she at least memorise the officer's ID number,- that one on each security's uniform? My friend, I've been in the same situation, and I even have to knock an off duty security once for trying to rob me. See? Rights are being talked about in here, yet most of the involved ones does not really know how to utilise their rights rightfully.
Deletion of the files, in time, can alter the truth of this case. Other forms of evidence may not be as strong as the laptop itself. Screen captures? Nah, you guys would still debate it as a photoshopped graphic. Summon form signed by authorised personel? Worse,... You guys would still doubt the authenticity of the situation. So, the best evidence thee is, is the laptop, AS IT IS. Just accessed, not disturbed, and no files deleted or added.

Pada pendapat saya, video klip ini lebih berunsur propaganda, iaitu memburuk-burukkan pelajar yang tidak berpuas hati dengan kecuaian pegawai. Video ini menyatakan pelajar pernah melanggar peraturan universiti, tetapi tidak memberikan bukti yang berkaitan. Kesilapan (kalau dapat ditentukan) yang lepas juga tidak boleh digunakan untuk menafikan kesilapan pegawai dalam video klip ini, iaitu merampas hak benda orang lain dan cuba mengabaikan tugas dengan berpergi dalam kereta.... lolz

Pegawai itu yang bersalah kerana megambil brangan orang. Peraturan Universiti tidak menyatakan laptop boleh dirampas, kalau mengandungi barangan lucah. Pegawai telah menyalahgunakan kuasanya kerana tidak menjalani prosedur yang sah dalam penyiasatan. Kesilapan pegawai tidaklah disukai di mana-mana komuniti pun.

I'm not working with UPM, and not even receiving anything other than my transcript from UPM. I just dont like the current scenario of my former school, which I am seeing here,- where some of the students have really gotten so 'KURANG AJAR'. Well, let's just call it a draw. It's been nice battling, eh? :) After all, honestly, I admire your valor. At least I can see you standing for something. Don't feel too bad about it, cos I don't even like hearing the word 'winning'. The word "serang" is wrong in this context. "Serang" means mendatangkan kecederaan fizikal kepada badan dengan menggunakan unsur keganasan . In this clip can be seen that this student just want an explaination and didnt had body contact or attack the security.

if u think the security had being abused physically and mentally, i can tell you that student also the same. what would you think a student could afford to buy a laptop on his first year if not from his parents? again... the robbery case happened in UPM is the main root the security wanted to go from room to room to have spot check and not finding every students laptop contents porn or wat so ever thing illegal. am i wrong?

thanks for ur comment here. well, i suppose u haven't taste the situation where ppl taken away ur belongings. too be frankly speaking, they only discovered the porns and those "phamplets" when only the students wanted to fight for their rights to gain back the laptop. unfortunately, they being back-fired when the university's security guard tried to protect themselves by finding those materials in the laptop...it just something similar with edison's case.

Never been in situation when my possessions got confiscated? Wohoho,... More than thrice bro. What's important, is that the student's laptop is filled up with banned stuff. Procedurally, to really prove that fact, the laptop should be kept by the authorities for a while, AS IT IS, until further notice by police/court. Handing the laptop back to the student will just open chances for the convicted to delete the banned materials found inside the laptop.

u studied in a university before and more specific in the malaysia local university? my fren a gal; her laptop got seized by security coz suspected her stealing ppl's laptop when she came back from library to do her thesis. turn out, that security guard went missing with her laptop!! tell u wat, her life ruin by this kind of security when she not be able to graduate juz bcoz she losted all her thesis data...

I'm a UPM graduate. Tadaaaaa!!! Sorry about you girl pal, but that's her problem. Couldn't she at least memorise the officer's ID number,- that one on each security's uniform? My friend, I've been in the same situation, and I even have to knock an off duty security once for trying to rob me. See? Rights are being talked about in here, yet most of the involved ones does not really know how to utilise their rights rightfully.

Deletion of the files, in time, can alter the truth of this case. Other forms of evidence may not be as strong as the laptop itself. Screen captures? Nah, you guys would still debate it as a photoshopped graphic. Summon form signed by authorised personel? Worse,... You guys would still doubt the authenticity of the situation. So, the best evidence thee is, is the laptop, AS IT IS. Just accessed, not disturbed, and no files deleted or added.

If UPM side give back the laptop to the student means they at fault. Do u think a big UPM wit surrender their image to a student? I doubted....
