out of all george lucas' accomplished films, i find it a kick in the nuts they never mention this movie which in my opinion is one of his best works ever, and they can't remake it to be as successful as the original

@SleepToDie they didn't remake it, not yet anyways. which would probably suck, hell look at how they rehashed the old starwars films. they added new effects with cgi, and altered a few of the best scene, even the friggin ewok song, hell i loved the ewok song growing up. but when ever they mention his works, it's always starwars. or et, or close encounters of a third kind, or indiana jones, but never willow. kinda sucks cause at the time that movie was the most advanced effects wise.

It's more heart warming than Star Wars of course and easier to understand. The characters are more lovable.

@NinjaGamer64 what is so magical about avatar? nearly all of it was cgi, like watching a video game. and the story is nearly identical to ferngully, i much more timely classic. avatar was over rated and i actually think it takes away from the beauty of cinema because 85% of it was made on a computer :0 WILLOW FTW!

I happened to come across it on television, (didn't get to see the beginning though) and it was surprisingly good! The special effects weren't half as bad as I had feared :)

And I have the 2nd post! Willow is a great, underrated movie. Not enough people have given Willow a try. It is easily one of my favorite fantasy movies. Something a lot of people don't know is George Lucas at one point intended on using "little" people as the main characters in Star Wars. Lucas isn't afraid to chances when making movies, and that is why they turn out so great.
